Its my great pleasure to share my lesson with you. My name is Lv Wenhua. Im from Qiao zhen Middle School. I have been teaching English for about 10 years. Now, the lesson that I am going to talk about is from Book 2 Unit 9 What does he look like? I am going to present it from eight parts.Part1、AnalysisoftheTeachingMaterialThis lesson is the first period in Unit 9. Its a listening and speaking lesson. The topic is related to their daily life. They can learn how to describe a persons appearance, so it is helpful to increase students interest in learning. It can also increase the studentsability of listening and speaking by learning new words and structures. Asasayinggoesthat: Wellbegunishalfdone.Soifthestudentscanlearnthislessonwell,itwillbeeasyforthemtolearntherestpartsofthisunitbetterPart2、AnalysisofStudentsThe Stusents have learned English for more than half a year so far. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. The Students have showed great interests in English . But the students are lack of vocabularies. Most of them dont often use English to express themselves or communicate with others. Some of them are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Task-based” teaching method and the situational method. That is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations and finish tasks by making dialogues to help the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structures . And in this lesson ,communication method will be needed.Part6、Learning methodsIn this lesson, Ill mainly use the group cooperative learning method and the preview learning method. Ill let them work in groups and pairs to practice the knowledge they have learned. In this way, they can learn better. Working in groups or pairs can also improve their ability of communication. Before we learn a new lesson, I always ask them to preview it. After they preview the new lesson, they can learn about the lesson and know the important and difficult points. And then, they will concentrate more on the knowledge that they dont understand well.
