There is a big bookshop,on the right, opposite the bank. 有一个大的书店,在右边,银行对面。opposite 有四种词性, 这里为介词,其后跟名词构成介词短语,意为“在对面”。也可作形容词,表示“对面的”,与介词to连用。作名词时表示“相反的人,对应物等”,与介词of连用。最后一种词性为副词,在句中作状语。例:(1)The bank is on the opposite side of the street.(adj.)/ The bank is opposite the bank.(prep.) 银行在街对面。 (2)Black and white are opposites.黑白是对立物。2. Go across the Dong changan Jie. 穿过东长安街。across 为介词,表示从物体表面一边到另一边的横过。cross是其动词形式,相当于“go across”。比较:through(prep.)“从(内部空间的一头到另一头)通过”例: We went through the forest. 我们穿过了森林。3. Could you tell me how to get to the National Stadium?你能告诉我怎么能到国家体育馆吗?其他问路的句式有:1)Where is ? 2) How can I get to?3) Excuse me, can you tell me the way to? 4) Can you show me the way to?5)Which/What is the way to?表达指路的句式有:Go across/Go along Turn left/right on the left/right/opposite near/next to, etc.思考:get, reach, arrive 的区别三者都有到达的意思,但是用法不同: (1)get 为不及物动词,需加to再加地点名词,get to +地点;(2) reach为及物动词,直接加地点名词,reach +地点;(3)arrive不及物动词,后可加in或at, 区别是arrive in +大地点,arrive at +小地点。4.
