Teaching proceduresStep 1. Warming-up1. Greet students as usual.2. Show a video clip of A Bite of China. Ask students to tell what the video is about. (Food)3. Then ask them what kind of food they like, or what their favorite food is.【设计意图】生动形象的视频能激发学生的兴趣,并引出今天的话题。Step 2. Presentation (1) Show pictures of different fruit, vegetables, meat and staple food. Help Ss to understand the words. Have them pay attention to which words are countable and which are uncountable. (2) Then help them to tell what they want by using “What kind of fruit would you like? Id like”.【设计意图】利用图片展示引入新单词,让学生熟悉。由于学生的年龄特征所定,他们对形象的事物特别感兴趣,于是采用了大量的实物图片。通过图片和单词结合理解含义,并基本掌握该单词是否可数。Step 3.Pair workHave students choose one kind of food randomly by turning the dial. Then work in pairs to make a short conversation by using “What kind of food would you like? Id like”【设计意图】通过练习,使学生进一步巩固新单词,并尝试运用新单词练习新句型。Step 4.Task 1 & 2T: We have a Super Noodle House. A foreign friend, Tom, comes to our restaurant, but he doesnt know Chinese. Can we help him? (Yes)(1) Have the students to match the words of food with the pictures. (Activity 1a)(2) Then have the students to introduce the three specials in the Super Noodle house.【设计意图】创设情境,提高学习兴趣。在情境中复习巩固单词,并未下面的听力口语训练做好铺垫。Step 5. Listening (Activity 1b) Have students to listen to the tape, check which noodles Tom orders.【设计意图】此听力练习与之前的情境任务紧密相连。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇,由于前面已做了一些训练,因此学生听起来比较容易,让他们都有一次成功的喜悦和感受,这样可以增强他们的学习自信心。Step 6.Pair work (Activity 1c)(1) Have students to practice the conversation in 1a with their partners.(2) Then ask students to take turns to be waiter and the person ordering the noodles. And make their own conversations using the words learned today.(3)Asksomepairstopresenttheirconversationstotheclass.【设计意图】此环节是让学生运用所学句型来进行操练,有利于巩固所学句型。提醒学生在角色扮演时注意礼貌用语。Step7.Group workHave the students to work in groups of four to ask the others what kind of noodles he/she would like and fill in the chart. Then report the survey results.【设计意图】让学生在小组中互相配合,了解他人。同时再次操练句型。Step 8.
