教 学 设 计教材:新目标英语 (Go for it!)课题:Unit 6 Im going to study computer science.课型:新课“be going to ”一般将来时态年级:八年级学校:珠海市文园中学教师:王振艳Unit 6 Im going to study computer science. 学情分析 (Analysis of Students)1. 知识基础:本课的授课对象是八年级的学生。主要是学习 “be going to do”来表达将来时态的用法,来谈论对未来的打算,并且能够正确使用want to be 来谈论未来的理想,来谈论如何实现理想,什么时间实现,并且在哪里去实现等多个疑问词的将来时态,学生能够清楚地理解“be going to do”表达将来的打算这种用法。2. 思维能力:大部分学生具有较强的模仿能力和丰富的想象力,思维活跃。本课举出学生生活中真实的例子和图片,引导学生设想将来的工作,从学生的感性认识入手,积极促进学生思维。3. 认知心理:大多数学生有较强的求知欲和表现欲,性格开朗,课堂应该多为学生创造开口说的机会,给学生提供展现自我的平台。II. 教材分析 (Analysis of Contents)本单元的教学目标是“关于未来的打算”的话题,让学生学会使用be going to do 等一般将来时的句型表达自己对未来职业的打算。教材设置谈论“将来做什么职业”以及“如何去实现自己理想”的话题,让学生对目标语言进行有效的输入和合理的运用,学生对话题有浓厚的兴趣,话题内容贴近学生的生活,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时发挥学生的想象力和创造力。III. 教学目标 (Teaching Aims)1. 语言知识(1)围绕“未来打算”的有关话题,学生学会使用谈论“将来要做什么职业”和“将要如何去实现”所需要的单词,短语和句子,如:want to be , grow up等;(2)学生能熟练掌握并运用将来时中be going to 的用法;(3)学生能理解掌握如何用哪些特殊疑问词去提问,如:when、 how、where;(4)学生能运用be going to表达将来要做的事情,如:我将要学习计算机科学;2. 语言技能加强听、说、读、写能力的训练;依照先听后说,先读后写,培养学生的输入技能,同时有针对性地进行输出,用所学的语言知识进行运用,同伴对话,小组讨论和汇报展示。3. 情感态度 (1)为学生提供一个轻松的学习环境,由乐中学,动静结合,体会学习英语的乐趣; (2)结合生活的真实实际例子,让学生感悟生活中运用英语,进而积极主动地学习英语; (3)通过小组讨论活动,培养学生的合作意识; (4)通过对未来生活的打算,培养学生的想象力,通过对未来职业的思考,树立更积极健康的生活目标;4. 学习策略 (1)能综合运用看、听、说和讨论等有效手段来获取信息; (2)能借小组活动的机会,积极用英语与其他同学交流,谈论未来的理想职业; (3)能通过对未来话题的讨论,树立自己的生活目标和制订相应学习计划;(4)通过小组讨论活动,培养学生沟通协作能力; (5)通过写报告训练,培养学生的书面表达能力,做汇报也有助于培养学生的口语表达能力。5. 文化意识 (1)初步了解中外学生的择业观,树立健康积极的生活目标;IV. 教学重点和难点 (Teaching Stress and Difficulties)1. 教学重点:(1)熟练掌握运用What/How/When/Where are going to?等多种提问未来打算方式的句子; (2)学会使用want to be/be going to do句型对未来职业的打算。2. 教学难点:理解并学会使用Im going to do. 句型表将来要做的事情。V. 教学方法 (Teaching Methods)本课采用任务型教学法(Task-based Teaching Method) , 该教学法围绕特定的交际和语言项目,让学生通过表达、沟通等各种语言活动来完成任务,以达到学习和掌握语言的目的。其最终目标在于吸引学生参与活动,在完成任务过程中主动思考,激发学习的兴趣,同时发挥学生的主体性作用,从完成任务中运用英语,从做中学。1. 教法通过引用贴近学生生活的例子以及对未来工作的设想,来掌握目标句型,创设真实的教学活动,如:同伴间对话,交流对各自10年后的自己的推测,我们将如何去实现梦想,培养学生学会运用语言知识于生活中的能力。2. 学法(1)通过自主学习,培养学生独立思考的能力;(2)通过小组讨论,培养学生的交际能力以及合作意识。VI. 教学步骤 (Teaching Steps) 步骤目的(设计意图)教师活动/教法学生活动/学法条件/手段Step1.Warm upListen to a song What do you want to be?通过歌曲引入,吸引学生的学习兴趣,活跃气氛。 Play the song to the students (Ss) and fill in the blanks.Listen to the song and fill some jobs in the blanks according to the lyric. 英文歌曲引入Step 2. Presentation of “be going to do/ want to be”Present some pictures to talk about some future jobs and learn new words according to the pictures.第一、通过展示关于大量工作的图片,谈论所从事的工作,让学生在真实的情境中想象一下未来;第二、通过让学生对含有将来时 “be going to do”的例句的观察,讨论并总结将来时的句型。1. Ask Ss a group of questions like “What do you want to be?” and “How are you going to do that?” to present sentences pattern “be going to do.2. Ask Ss to discuss in groups in one minute to have a summary of the sentences to talk about the future.1. Ss answer the questions of the teacher and observe the sentences with “be going to do”;2. Ss discuss in groups to have a summary of the sentence patterns to talk about the future.老师提问,学生回答;老师引导学生观察句子; 老师带领学生做笔记Step3. Use the teacher herself as an example to illustrate how to ask the questions“How are you going to to do that? 、 “Where are you going to work?” and “When are you going to start?”通过展示老师自己理想工作的图片,让学生通过不同疑问词的提问形式学会表达“ be going to do”来巩固句型。Ask Ss “I want to be a pilot in future. Guess How I am going to do that? 、 where I am going to work? and When I am going to start ” and show Ss pictures of describing the job.1. Ss think about the teachers ideal job in future; 2. Ss answer the questions of the teacher and try to say out sentences with “be going to do”.老师提问,学生回答Step 4. Listening Task 1(1)Listen and fill in the blanks Then match the items; 通过听力信息和听力理解,学生能够再一次理解和巩固本节课的目标语言,即用be going to do去表达如何去实现理想。1. Play the listening materials and ask Ss to match the items;2. Play the listening again and ask Ss to fill in the blanks.1. Ss match the items they hear;2. Ss fill in the blanks.老师播放听力,学生完成两项听力任务Step 5. Listening Task 2Listen and complete the chart in 2a and 2b.听录音同时完成2a和2b两个听力练习,培养学生在听力过程中获取信息的能力。1. Ask Ss to listen and fill in the chart they hear;1. Ss listen and finish Exercise 2a and 2b; 学生做听力,在听力材料的句子中总结目标句型Step6.Pair workwork in pairs and make dialogues with partners to talk about their future.通过同伴对话的形式将目标语言进行口头输出,培养学生的口语表达能力,有助于训练学生的口语。1. Show sentences about the teachers future to Ss;2. Ask one student as a partner to make an example for Ss;3. Ask Ss to talk with their partners about their future in pairs.1. Ss work in pairs and talk with their partners about their future with the some questions like :What do you want to be when you grow up?-I want to be a/ an -How are you going to do that?-Im going to -Where are you going to work?-Im going to-When are you going to start?-Im going to start when / in.学生同伴间进行对话,个别展示Step 7.Watching the videoWatching、listening carefully and fill in the blanks.观看关于班级三个同学的采访录像,采访者用本课的目标语言去进行采访,让同学们抓住有用信息进行填空。Let Ss watch the video about the others future dreams firstly and then skim the conversation to answer the following questions. Finally retell the conversation.Firstly Ss scan the conversation during 3 minutes. Secondly Ss skim the conversation to answer the following questions.Finally Ss retell the conversation.学生通过略读和详读对话来锻炼阅读能力,同时复述整理过的对话有待于能力提高Step 8 Comprehensive taskTask 1 Interview the partner according to the table.一个学生去采访她的同伴,运用本堂课所学的目标语言,并且根据采访填写好表格。To give Ss the opportunity to use the target language in a controlled manner and encourage Ss to interview the others. One S interview the partner and fill in the blanks according to the target language.学生写下采访同学的信息并且填满表格Task 2Write a report about their future dreams.根据自己的采访的对象写下关于同伴将来的梦想计划Let Ss write a passage about their future dreams.Ss write down the partners future dream.写作训练,组织语言Task 3Oral Report 通过口头汇报的形式为学生提供口头表达的机会。Ask some Ss to give a speech, reading out their report. Ss give a speech to read out the report. 口头演讲Step 9 Summary 及时总结,巩固知识The teacher summarizes the sentence patterns in this period together with the students.Ss follow the teacher to summarize the key sentence.总结、归纳Step 10Practice and homework.在课堂上做一些1+1上关于本课重难点的练习;让学生对所学的知识进行课后消化和巩固。Let Ss do some exercises and write a passage about his future intentions.
