Circle the cities and countries you hear on the recording.(2)Play the recording for the first time.ask students to circle as many as the answers as they can.(3)Play the recording a second time. This time have students finish circling the answes.Play the recording a third time if necessary.Step2:Oral practiceDivide students into groups and let them ask and answer in groups. (1) First divide students into 4 groups. Each group can make up a ten-question quiz about cities and countries. In each group, there are some pairs. One students from a pair will ask a question. Another student from the other pair will try to answer.(2) As the groups play the game, the teacher moves around the classroom and offers some language support.Step 3:Reading practice (1)Draw attention to the conversation in the box. Ask two students to read it aloud.(2)Ask a student to point out the place that Paul wants to get to. Guide the student to point to the book and say: Here is the hotel. Heres Bridge Street.(3)Point to the two arrows. Ask students to repeat “left” and “right”. Then ask them to hold up their left hands and then their right hands.(4)Ask students to read the conversation again.(5)Check the answers.Step 4:HomeworkWrite a short passage about the places about the places around the students h
