Ask them if they like watching the movies or not.2. Let them watch a movieTalk about their weekends and watch the movieRaise the Ss learning interest and lead in the new lesson.The cartoon movie is shown on the screen.Step 3Presenting the new words1. Ask the students what the movie is about. ( animals)2. Present the new words (tiger, lion, elephant, panda, koala, giraffe) by guessing and try to tell the students some adjectives to describe these animals.3. Introduce some other animals to the students Answer the questions and learn the new words.Learn the basic knowledge for communicating.Show some pictures of the animals on the screen.Step 4Finishing the tasks.1. Work with 1a. Let the students match the words with the animals.2. Work with 1c. Show the target languages on the screen, let them work in pairs to practice the dialogue.3. Work with 1b.
