Step 2Leading-in1. Ask the students about their hobbies and what they often do on the weekend. Introduce my hobbies about listening to music or watching the movies on the weekend. Ask them if they like watching the movies or not.2. Let them watch a movieTalk about their weekends and watch the movieRaise the Ss learning interest and lead in the new lesson.The cartoon movie is shown on the screen.Step 3Presenting the new words1. Ask the students what the movie is about. ( animals)2. Present the new words (tiger, lion, elephant, panda, koala, giraffe) by guessing and try to tell the students some adjectives to describe these animals.3. Introduce some other animals to the students Answer the questions and learn the new words.Learn the basic knowledge for communicating.Show some pictures of the animals on the screen.Step 4Finishing the tasks.1. Work with 1a. Let the students match the words with the animals.2. Work with 1c. Show the target languages on the screen, let them work in pairs to practice the dialogue.3. Work with 1b. Let the students listen to three conversations and check the animals.Match the words with animals.Work in pairs to make the dialogues and present the conversationsListen to the conversations and check the animals.Train the students speaking and listening skills.Show the tasks on the screen.Step 5Warning1. Introduce some shows about the animals to them.2. Let them watch a short movie and warn them to love animals, protect animals.Watch the movie and talk about their ideas about animalsArouse students moral feelings.Play the video and show some pictures.Step 6Summary and Homework 1. Let the students summarize the important knowledge of this class.2.
