Words & expressions : engineer, pilot, computer programmer. B. Key sentences: what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be. . C. Simple future tense Ability goals Enable the students to understand and use future tense. Enable ss to use the words and expression about the life dreamEmotion goals Enable the students to understand life and have their own life goals. Let the students have positive attitude to try to make their dreams come true.Teaching key and difficult points 1). Teaching Key Points Remember the words about jobs and the usage of future tense 2).Teaching Difficulties Train the Ss to use future tense with “be going to” correctly. and to make dialogues and act them out.The teaching methods Task-based teaching method, CAI teaching method, Cooperative and communicative learning methods. Trying method The teaching aids The mutli-media, some paper, some colorful pens and so on Part Two Analysis of the students Although The students have learned English for only one year, they have known something. However, they dont often express themselves and communicate with others in English. Even some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. On the other hand, students in junior school are generally interested in English. They have strong curiosity and thirst for knowledge and their future. Students will be interested in this topic.Part Three Teaching procedures Step I Lead-inEnjoy a songEnjoy a beautiful song, and when ss enjoy it , ask ss to write down the words about the jobs they hear.Then ask them to speak out the words about jobs.Purpose :Through this part we can arouse the students interest of studying English and consolidate what they have studied before, and can prepare for the new lesson.Step II Words learningPresent some pictures about some new words about jobs. Ask ss to read them and try to remember them.(pilot, engineer, cook, violinist, computer programmer, basketball player, pianist, driver)A game-Stand upTo help ss remember some words and deepen the impression, and improve the interest in this lesson, here I design a game to ask ss to take part in it. The game is very easy, that is, if you hear the sound and recognize it, guess what the job is. If you know it ,please stand up without putting up hands. If your group answer most and correctly, you will get points. Thus ss will pay more attention to this sentence pattern to try to make up the story. So it will consolidate this further.Exercise Three Do you want to know your future?Work in groups. Try to make conversations with the sentence patterns. So it will help ss to grasp it better.Exercise Four Volunteers and make a posterGroupwork: Work in groups. Try to make a poster for your volunteer group. Write down what you are going to do for the Asian Games. And you can draw to make it betterPurpose: Learn something to apply it. So ask ss to put it into practice by means of the coming Games. It not only practices the sentence patterns, but also improves the ability to be a volunteer.Exercise Five Help him!Find the mistakes in the wolfs words and try to correct them.Dear friend, I is going to cook for the visitors.
