Unit 9 Can you come to my party? SectionA 1a-1c 春元中学 王彩琴一、内容分析 Unit9sectionA 1a-1c是本单元的第一课时,谈论有关“邀请”的话题,要求学生掌握运用“Can you? I m sorry ,I cant ”结构,在日常生活中发出邀请并能根据实际情况接受或拒绝邀请,进而实现对目标语言的运用。 本课起着开篇的作用,让学生初步感知、理解和运用语言,为以后的学习做好铺垫。二、学情分析 情态动词can与have to / must,在初一,学生接触过,有一定的基础,较易学习,气氛应较轻松,而且,话题很贴近学生的生活,学生乐意交流合作,也会感兴趣,积极性会高。三、教学目标 1. Students can use the phrases: prepare for, go to the doctor, have the flu, help my parents, meet my friends 2. Students can make ,accept and decline invitation about the party. 3. Students can develope some listening, speaking, reading, writing skills. 4. Students can love to learn with others together.四、教学重难点 1.students are able to use “can” to make invitations. 2.students are able to use “have to,must” to decline invitations. 3.students are able to use “Id love/like to” to accept invitations.五、学习过程与方法 在创设的情景“party”中,师生间交流练习,学生间小组合作学习,愉快地完成每个任务,从而发展了学生的英语语言能力。六、教学工具ppt , learning case, book, chalk.七、教学过程 StepI.Learning and sharing.自主学习并展示 First ,please finish the phrases in learning case and share them. Give about 5 minutes. Next ,finish the sentences in learning case and share them again. Give about 7 minutes.Step II.Presentation and drills. 1. The teacher will communicate with students to present how to make ,accept the invitation about party like this: T : Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon? S : Sure ,Id love to. The teacher can communicate with more students . Then ,pratice the conversation in pairs according to the picture on ppt.2.According to the picture on ppt,the teacher will present how to refuse the invitation and give the reasons like this: T :Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon? S :(help students) Im sorry I cant. I have to prepare for an exam. The teacher can communicate with more students . Then ,pratice the conversation in pairs according to the picture on ppt.Step III.Pairwork Now ,there are six numbers on the screen,each group No.1 can choose a number,so your group can a “happy face” or “unhappy face”.If your group get a”happy face”,it means that your group will practice “accepting”.If not,you will practice “refusing”.Give about 5 minutes.Then share them.Step IV.Finishing 1a and listening.Look at page 65,finish 1a and check them.Listen and write the names (Tim,Kay,Anna and Wilson) next to the correct students in the picture.Then check them.Step V.Groupwork. If you want to go to the movies on Saturday, please invite your classmates in your guoup to go with you.Make new conversations in groups.You must invite at least two students to go with you.Then ,the teacher can give an example.Finally , each group No.2 will share their conversations in class.Step VI.Exercises.
