Teaching Design of How do you like a banana milk shake?Unit 8 of Grade 8 (A), Go For It大源学校 张璐一背景介绍1. 授课时间:2015.12.222. 授课地点:成都高新大源学校3. 授课教师:张璐4. 教学对象:8年级5. 听课人数及来源:高新区九义校英语教师二教学目标 1. 语言知识目标 1)引导学生复习并运用以下单词来谈论与食物制作相关的话题:shake,yogurt,honey,watermelon,spoon,salt,sugar,cheese,corn,machine, sandwich,butter,piece,pepper,plate,pour,add,mix,fill,cover,serve,finally。2)引导学生熟练运用本单元的目标语言,就“食材的量”进行问答:How much +不可数名词? 其回答需借助量词回答:a cup/spoon/bowl ofHow many +可数名词复数? 其回答直接用数字回答。3)引导学生正确使用下列表序列的副词和常用表达描述食物的制做步骤和过程:FirstNextThenFinallycut up, mix up, putinto, pourinto, turn on.2. 语言技能目标1)帮助学生理解并运用关于“食物制作”的话题,抓住“制作步骤”等关键信息。2)引导学生使用所学的单词和目标语言正确描述和记录制作步骤。3. 情感态度目标1)引导学生在生活中接触英语时,乐于探究其含义并尝试模仿。2)帮助学生对祖国饮食文化有更深刻的了解,具有初步的国际理解意识。3)引导学生在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务。4) 培养学生有条理有计划的安排学习生活。4. 学习策略目标1)引导学生通过分类的方法,掌握并正确运用可数与不可数名词。2)引导学生通过体验,掌握按顺序表达食物制作过程的方法。5. 文化情感意识目标1)帮助学生了解中国传统待客之道。2)引导学生有条理有计划地安排自己的学习生活。三学情分析1教学内容本课选自Go for it!教材八年级上册的8单元第5课时。本单元功能话题是以“食品制作”为载体谈论“制作步骤”并依照指示语完成步骤。本课主要内容是通过谈论接待外宾,复习不同食材的名称,所需的量及制作步骤,并通过表序列的词来描述做其它事情的步骤。2学生情况本班大部分学生已初步具备一定的英语学习能力和良好的英语学习习惯,他们思维活跃,开口能力较强;他们知道一些食物的英语名称,对有关食物制作的话题很感兴趣。很多学生有待客的经历,熟悉本课中所设计的任务。3教学条件教师本人对任务型语言教学操作模式有一定尝试,善于设计安排、组织开展任务型活动。语言能力较强,语音语调标准。本校拥有多媒体教学设备,教师也能熟练地使用多媒体教学技术,因此本节课可使用多媒体辅助教学。四教学重难点在开展接待外宾活动的创设情景中运用与食材、量和步骤相关的单词和句型解决实际问题。五课型及教学方法该课为单元复习课。本节课采取任务型教学基本途径,采用以任务为中心,活动为载体,学生为主体,教师为主导,教师设置情景,布置任务,安排活动,学生参与活动,完成任务,达成教学目标。本节课包含讨论如何接待外宾、制作菜单和准备食材、制作食物等三个任务活动,通过两两对话, 小组合作等方式完成这些任务及活动。 六教学辅助手段 多媒体辅助课件七教学任务及活动任务名称实施活动意图与目标达成Warming up:Lets discuss what to do to serve guests.1.引入并创设情境。1. 用图片及语言创设情境,引导学生思考接待外宾的活动。2. 学生通过头脑风暴讨论接待外宾的各种活动,既明确本堂课讨论如何待客的主题,又为最后的高级产出做铺垫。3.实现帮助学生了解中国传统待客之道的情感目标。Task 2:Lets make a menu for the welcome dinner.1. 了解食物的分类;2. 对本单元所学的主要食物和中餐中常见食物进行分类并自然生成菜单。1. 学生能在生活中运用所学菜品名称,相关词汇。2. 学生能使用词汇归类这一学习策略将食物分类,并能在生活中制作菜单。Task 3:Lets make dishes to serve our guests.1. 根据老师的提示回顾制作水果沙拉的过程。2. 根据制作水果沙拉的过程总结制作食物应准备的食材及怎样描述制作过程。3. 挑选菜单中的一个菜品,对其食材、量及制作步骤进行描述。 提问:(1)What do we prepare for making ? (2)How to make ? 1. 学生能在生活中根据菜单准备食材。在准备食材的过程中,复习单元的目标语言How much +不可数名词? How many +可数名词复数?以及yogurt, honey, watermelon, spoon等食物和设施设备名称。2. 学生能运用表序列的副词FirstNextThenFinally和常用的制作食物的动作:cut up,mix up,putinto, pourinto, turn on讨论食物的制作。3.引导学生在生活中接触英语时,乐于探究“制作步骤”的含义并尝试模仿。Task 4:Lets do more things to serve our guests!小组分工合作选取一件待客的活动进行讨论并展示。 小组选取一件事情进行讨论准备,即学以致用又能培养学生有逻辑、又条理做事的能力。八教学过程教学思路或方法本课遵循任务型语言教学途径,师生共同参与达成教学目标。通过三个任务,开展presentationpracticeproduction等一系列听说语言实践活动,采用图片展示法、归纳法、意义操练法、交际法,帮助学生培养归纳整理能力,并培养学生有计划有条理的安排自己的学习生活。教学步骤Warm-ing up:Lets discuss what to do to serve guests.Steps Time(min)InteractionPatternsSkillsTeachers ActivitiesStudents Activities活动意图目标达成Lead in2 minswhole class SpeakingShow pictures of exchange students and ask what things they can do to serve guests.Say: Some exchange students from America will come to our school next week.
