Ability objectives: 1) Train students listening and speaking skills. 2) Train students communicative competence.3. Moral objective:Be good at watching something and love our lives.二、Teaching key points and difficult points2. 1. Key point: 1) Master the key vocabulary. 2) The present progressive tense.2. Difficult point: Oral practice using the target language.三、Teaching methods:Situational approach, Audio-visual approach四、Teaching procedures:Step 1: Lead-in1. Greeting.2. T shows a picture on the screen and asks Ss to talk about what he/she is doing in the picture.3. Ss share their opinions. Step 2: Presentation1. T show the pictures and help Ss to identify what the people in the pictures are doing. Help them to describe each picture by saying “He/ she is ” T: What is he/she doing? Ss: He/She is.2. T helps Ss to understand the key sentences. T: What are you doing? Ss: Im.3. Ss work on 1a. 1) Match the words with the activities. 2) Talk about the picture with Ss using the target language. Step 3: Practice1. Work on 1b. 1) Listen. What are these people doing? Write numbers from 1a. 2) Write numbers from 1a. 2. Ss work in pairs to make their own conversations. A: Whats he doing? B: Hes using the computer. A: What are they doing? B: Theyre listening to a CD.3. Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class. Step 4: Product1. Work on 2a & 2b. 1) Ss look at the sentences in 2a. Read them aloud. 2) Ss listen carefully and match the answers with the questions. 3) The whole class check the answers.2. Work on 2c. 1) Ss role-play the conversation in 2b. 2) T invites several Ss to show their conversations. Step 5: Homework1. Find three photos of your family or friend
