Unit 9 What does he look like? Section A(1a-2c) 教学设计一、教学目标:(一)知识目标:1.识记描述人物外貌特征的词汇: tall, short, long, curly, straight, hair, height, thin, heavy, medium, build.2. 学会使用询问、描述人物外貌特征的句型。a. What do you look like? Im short. I have curly hairb. What does he/she look like? He/She is tall/of medium height/short/thin/heavy/of medium build. He/she has long/short /black/straight/curly hair(2) 能力目标:1.学会询问他人外表。 2.学会谈论和描述身高,体重,发型等外貌特征。(三) 情感目标:1.通过描述身边同学、朋友、教师、家人的外表,增加彼此之间的感 情,培养人际交往能力,同时感受到语言使用的趣味性。2. 学会尊重人,不以貌取人。3.培养猜测,逻辑排序,概括与推理能力。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点(1).What引导的询问外貌的特殊疑问句。(2). be, have,的一般现在时用法。(3). 描述外貌的形容词。2. 教学难点注意比较动词“has”和“is”在对人物进行描述时的用法及汉语意思的差别。三、教学方法直观教学法 情景教学法 任务型教学四、教学过程Step1. Warming-up :1,利用多媒体课件播放小视频.2 ,利用多媒体课件展示图片,按照“身材”“身高”“发型”的顺序让学生学习描述人的外貌词汇。注意of medium build、heavy、of medium height 和curly 、straight新词汇的领读和拼读。3,根据图片教授不同发型的英语名称,描述发型的句子She has short/long/curly/straight hair.注意讲解描述发型的形容词的顺序(长短+形状+颜色)。结合课件学习不同的发型。Step2. Work on 1a Match the words with the people in the picture.
