一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明 This unit tells us how to describe animals, express preferences and the related stories. Besides learning this, students will also learn some words, structures and so on. To attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing ,I have a clue like this: I have a friend named Ben ,he loves animals so much and he wants to go to college to study animals, but he has six tests:1.Answer the names of animals2.Describe the animals. 3. Know about where the animals come from.4 .Talk about the animals.5. Read and understand the passage .6 .Make a report. We should help him to finish these tasks and realize his dream. In fact , these tests are our teaching aims. When students finish thesetests, we also finish our objectives.二、教学背景1. 教学内容分析:One: Status and Function 1. This unit tells us how to describe animals, express preferences and the related stories. Besides learning this, students will also learn some words, structures and so on. 2. To attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing, I will have the students do some exercise about the four skills. 3. Such a topic is very important in this unit. I will let students use adj. to describe animals and use structures “why do you like. “because they are. “Where are they from?”it will be helpful to make them learn the rest of this unit.Two: Teaching Aims and Demands1. Knowledge objects(1) To study the new words “panda”, “tiger” , “elephant”, “koala”, “lion”, “giraffe”, “animal”, “cute”, “lazy”, “smart”, “scary “and “beautiful”.(2) To learn and master the structures “why do you like. “ , “because they are. and “Where are they from?”(3)Understand the passage.2. Ability objects, (1) To develop the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2) To train the students ability of working in pairs.(3) To develop the students abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.3. Moral objectsLove and protect animals.Three: Teaching Keys and Difficult Points1. Key points:Be able to express words, phrases and structures in English.2. Difficult points:Describe animals2. 学生情况分析:The students are from Grade One, they have learned English for half a term. So on the one hand, they have some difficulty in listening and writing, on the other hand, they are active, serious and they can understand some simple orders. Learn new words by pictures. Purpose of my designing: After seeing the pictures, the students will know what animals they are and they can learn them quickly and easily.2. Guessing game. Purpose of my designing: This step is to make the students understand the new words deeply.3. Read the new words.Purpose of my designing :To remember the new words again.4. Listening to the tape .Purpose of my designing: Check the students how much they have mastered5.Learn some adj. to describe animals.Purpose of my designing: To know how many adj. they mastered6.Challenge gamePurpose of my designing: To know how many adj. they have mastered7.Read the new words.Purpose of my designing: To remember the new words again.8.Key Structures Purpose of my designing: To check the students writing 9. Listening to the tape .Purpose of my designing: Check the students if they where the animals come from10.Make a dialogue Give the students two or three minutes to prepare, and then get them say itPurpose of my designing: By saying such things, get the students practice their speaking ability 11.Read the passage and the answers.Purpose of my designing:To know the students understand the passage.12.Make a report First, I will divide the students into some group
