Its a sunny day. I live in a small town and I work in Tianmen Foreign Middle School. You know it is far from school. I often get to school by bus, sometimes I get to school by car. What about you? Today, lets talk about how you go from one place to another. Step 2: Presentation 1.Show the pictures of train, bus, subway,bike 2.Let the students read the new words and expressions. 3.lets chantStep 3: Activity 1a1. Look at the picture carefully,then match the words with the pictures.Check the answers.2.Read the dialogue togetherStep 4: Activity 1b 1.Have the students read the instructions and know how to do them.2.Play the tape for two times.The first time, ask students to listen carefully and number the conversations.The second time,listen and check the answers.3.Follow the tape. Let students pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.Step 5: Activity 1c 1.Give students enough time to practice the conversations in 1b.2.Ask them to make their own conversations. (1)how 引导的特殊疑问句提问交通方式,其答语分四种情况: a. take a/an/the+交通工具(单数)乘去某地。 He takes the car/bus/bike/subway/train b. by+交通工具(单数)by car/bus/bike/subway/train/plane c. on foot步行d.walk/ride/drive/fly+to+地点名词,步行/骑自行车/开车/坐飞机去某地【注意】on foot, by bike, by bus, by subway, by train, by car等词组的名词前不能加任何冠词或其他修饰词。练一练: - _ do you go to school every day? - By bus. A. How B. Why C. Where D. When(2)get to school到学校 go to school 去学校 get常与to连用表示“到达某地”;但当表示目的地的词是副词here, there, home等时,则不需要用介词to.Eg: Theyll get to Beijing at six tonight. 他们将在今晚6点到达北京。(接地点名词)When do you get home every day? 你每天几点到家? (接地点副词)知识点2. one hundred and five 一百零五hundred 数词,意为“百”,当表示具体的“几百”时,用“基数词+hundred”表示,注意此时hundred不加“-s”.eg: There are about eight hundred students in our school. 我们学校大约有800名学生。知识点3. Is this your new bike? 这是你的新自行车吗?new 形容词,意为“新的;刚出现的”,其反义词为old.Eg: Its a new desk. 这是一张新课桌。 He is a new student. 他是刚来的学生。知识点4. I ride it to school every day. 我每天骑他去上学。(1)ride V骑,后面可接bike, horse, motorbike等。 Ride n旅程an hours ride一小时的路程(2)every 限定词,意为“每一,每个”,其后接单数可数名词。every day意为“每天”。Eg: They are busy every day. 他们每天都忙。 Every student comes here. 每个学生都到这儿来了。【辨析】every day 与everydayevery day表示某事发生的频率,意为“每天,天天”,在句中作状语eg: We go to school every day. 我们每天去上学。everyday 形容词,意为“日常的,普通的”,在句中作定语eg: I study everyday English every day. 我每天学习日常英语。知识点5. How far is it from your home to school? 从你家到学校有多远?how far 用来提问距离,多远,其答语分为两种: (1)用长度单位表示:It is five kilometers. (2)用时间表示:Its twenty minutes walk.知识点6. How long does it take you to get to school? 你到学校花费多长时间?(1)how long 用来提问时间,意为多久回答常用“for或about+段时间”。 -How long have you learnt English? -For /about 3 years.练一练: -_ have you lived with your grandparents? -About three years.A.
