Communicative teaching method. 2). Task - based teaching method.Teaching aids:Blackboard, chalk, PPTTeaching difficulties:1). How to make the students to understand the grammar points clearly and use the sentence patterns skillfully. 2). How to make the students be able to use the new words and phrases to express their ideas in daily life, and develop the ability of skimming and scanning.3). How to arouse the students interest in English learning Teaching procedure:There are five steps in my teaching procedures. Before teaching, I will divide the whole class into 4 groups.Step 1: warming up and leading in (10 minutes)1). To give a question to the students, ”how many kinds of transport do you know?”, then, show some pictures of different kinds of transport.2). ask the students to think about each form of transport and stand up to show their opinions.3). To give the students six sentences about making a holiday plan and ask them to work in pairs to make dialogue of their holidays.Step 2: pre-reading (3 minutes)1). To show two pictures about Mekong river.2). To show the map of Mekong river and introduce some information about this river. Step 3: While-reading and comprehending (30 minutes)1). To ask the students to read the passage as quickly as they can. 2). To show the students some important language points about the text.3). To ask the students to read the passage carefully and think about the questions on page 19.4). To ask some students to answer th
