Unit 12 Section A period 1 Section A (1a-2c) 教案一、教学目标: 1.知识目标:进一步学习过去时态的用法;学会谈论过去事件。- What did you do last weekend? - Well, on Saturday morning, I played badminton.2. 能力目标:(1) 提高学生运用一般过去时谈论过去的语言交际能力。(2) 加强学法引导,培养学生的听力技巧和能力。3. 情感态度价值观目标(1)帮助学生树立合作学习观点。(2)讲述美好的周末,树立学生享受生活,热爱美好的大自然情感,同时加强对学生的安全教育。二、教学重难点进一步学习过去时态的用法;学会谈论过去事件.三、教学过程. Warming-up and revision Let the students listen to the English song ,Yesterday Once More . After that ,tell them the name of the song ,and talk about the things they did yesterday .Then lead to the topic of Unit 12 , What did you do last weekend?.Presentation1. Deal with the new words .Show some Chinese to the students and get them to look for the right English words and phrases in 1a-2c in groups . Then teach the words and phrases one by one .At the same time , introduce the activities using the questions What did you do last weekend?So the students can have more time to practice and master the use of the past forms of the verbs which appear in 1a-2c .2. 1a .Focus attention on the picture. Ask students to tell what they see. Name each activity and ask students to repeat: did my homework, went to the cinema, went boating, camped by the lake, went to the beach, played badminton.Then ask students to match each activity with one of the pictures. Say, Write the letter of each activity next to the words. Point out the sample answer.Check the answers. Then ask students to repeat.3. Get the students to translate some sentences into English ,using the phrases in 1a .Then read them together . Listening1.Work on 1b This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.Tell the students about some skills of listening . Make sure they can pay more attention to the key words and the content of the material they will listen to .Play the recording .Listen to the recording and write the days and times Lucy did each thing under the pictures. Point out the sample answer under the picture of Lucy playing badminton; on Saturday morning.Correct the answers.2.Present 2a and 2b in the same way . Practice1. Get the students to watch a short video .Then talk about the people in it .So the students can practice in real situation .2. Do a guessing game .Practice Get the students to practice conversations in pairs.-What did you do last weekend?-Choose several pairs to ask and answer .Summary Let the students read the new words and structures together . Homework: 1. Revise the past forms of the verbs in 1a -2c . 2. Write about what you did last weekend.板书
