Warming- up and revision1. Greeting T: Good morning, class. Hows it going with you? 2. Ask and answer about the weather. T: Please look at these pictures. Hows the weather in Picture a? S:. T: Hows the weather in picture b? . T: Boys, please ask hows the weather? And girls, please answer it? Ok? Boys: Hows the weather in picture a? Girls: Its. 3. Review words in this section. T: Lets read these words together. . Work on 2a Work in pairs T:please look here. There are three pictures. Please work with your partner to talk about whats the weather like and what are people doing? Give an example to the SsA: Hows the weather in picture a ?B: Its warm and sunny.A: What is the girl doing?B: She is sitting by the pool and drinking orange juice. T: Now, please work with your partner and talk about Picture b and c. some pairs to ask and answer about the questions in Picture b and c. . Lead-in Show some beautiful pictures on the screen. T: Now, Id like to tell you a piece of good news. Summer vacation is coming. Are you excited? If you are on a vacation, where do you want to go? Do you want to go to these places? Do you want to go to Hawaii and drink orange juice by the sea? Do you want to go to New York to skate? Play music T: Please close your eyes. Imagine if you are on a vacation now, where are you? Whats the weather like? What are you doing there? Is it hot? Is it snowy? Are you listening music? Are you reading? Some students show their imagination. Presentation T: Today, we have two new friends, Su lin and Dave. They are on a vacation. Lets have a look. What are they doing? Are they having a great time? Please look at your book. Page 41. There are two postcards. One is from Su Lin. The other is from Dave. Reading1. Fast Reading Read the postcards in 2b and math each postcard with the correct picture in 2a. Ss read the postcards quickly and match the postcard with the correct picture. Then check the answers. T: The first postcard is picture.S:.T: How do you know? From which sentence you know its picture a?S:.2. Careful reading: Read the first postcard again and find the answers to these questions. Where is Su Lin now? What is Su Lin studying here? Is she visiting some of his old friends there? Whats she doing right now? Hows the weather there?Then check the answers.
