Unit3 Section A 1a-1c英语形容词/副词比较等级的构成有三个：原级，比较级和最高级。（一）形容词/副词的比较级1. 形容词/副词比较级形式变化有规则的和不规则的两种。规则变化：1）单音节词末尾加-erEg: great- greater small- smaller clean- _ tall- _ long- _short- _ smart- _2）单音节如以e结尾，只加-rEg: fine- finer nice- nicer wide - _ late- _3）闭音节单音节词如末尾只有一个辅音字母，须先双写这个辅音字母，再加-er Eg: big- bigger hot- hotter red- _ thin- _ fat- _4）以-y结尾的词，如-y前是辅音字母，则变y为-i，再加-er Eg: easy -easier heavy- _ funny- _ lazy- _ early- _friendly- _5）其它双音节和多音节词皆在前面加单词more Eg: difficult- more difficultdelicious- _ interesting- _outgoing- _ friendly- _ hard-working- _ loudly- _不规则变化： good/well- better bad/badly- worse many/much- more old-older/elder little- less far- farther/further 2. 形容词比较级的用法：比较级用于二者的比较。如：(1).
