Whats the date today?/ What time is it?2、能力目标:(1) 掌握中学常见的几门课程的名称(2)、使用适当的语言谈论学校生活3、情感目标:结合本单元的话题用一般现在时进行交流。重点、难点1、重点:理解行为动词一般现在时的用法。2、难点:掌握行为 动词一般现在时的肯定句。否定句。疑问句及其肯定和否定回答的基本用法教 学 过 程(教学环节、教师活动、学生活动)集体讨论记录个人修改记录Comic stripStep I 呈现1创设语境,向学生呈现新知识。教师说:In school, there are many subjects. What is your favourite one? Which is your favourite subject?板书which.鼓励学生根据自己的实际情况回答:My favourite subject is .2 对有能力的学生,教师可以追加提问:Why do you like this subject?3 在学生回答过程中,教师可启发学生谈论喜欢某一学科的原因。如:Its very interesting .It can make me strong.Step II 操练1教师指导学生开展“开火车”活动。教师说:Would you like to play a game to learn about your classmates favourite subjects? Lets do chain work! Please ask the questions one by one.教师在投影或黑板上呈现对话:Sample conversation S1:Which of the subject do you like best?S2:I like best.S1:Why?S2:Because it .Which subject do you like best?S3:I likebest.S2:Why?S3:Because it.2 在学生练习过程中,教师可适时参与学生的活动,对学生的表达给予反馈。Step III 呈现1 向学生介绍漫画故事背景,让他们听录音回答问题。教师说:Eddie is a lovely dog. Do you know his favourite subject? Which is his favourite subject? Listen to the tape and answer this question.为学生播放前两幅漫画的录音,并鼓励他们回答:Eddies favourite subject is Maths.2 教师继续提问,并让学生带着悬念听余下的录音部分。教师说:Why can Eddie learn Maths well?学生听完两幅漫画的录音后回答问题:Because Eddie likes eating very much.3 接着分配男生和女生分角色跟着录音朗读对话,并启发学生从音色,节奏,速度等方面设计朗读的方式,使自己的朗读更有感染力。Step IV 展示1 组织学生同桌分角色有感情的朗读对话,并设计符合漫画内容的面部表情和肢体语言。2 让学生卡看漫画,进行配音活动。之后再选不同层次的几组学生进行展示。3 对有能力的学生可以让他们尝试续写漫画内容。教师说 :Suppose you are Hobo. When you hear Eddies words, what do you think of him? What will you say to Eddie? Please continue writing Eddie and Hobos conversation. Welcome to the unitStep I 呈现1 与学生进行交流,引入本单元话题。教师说:You study at .Middle School for many days. Do you like your new school? Do you tell your parents about your new school? What do you tell them? 鼓励学生给出自己的答案,如:I like my school. I tell my parents about classmates and sports. 接着教师呈现说:I think you can tell them about your friends and teachers.2 通过情境和照片,向学生呈现课程名称。教师说: I am teaching English now. So I am your English teacher. 板书so. 接着呈现各门课的教师授课的照片并问学生: Who is this teacher? What subject does he/she teach? He/She teaches .板书 biology ,geography, history 等常用的课程名称,帮助学生正确掌握读音。Step II 操练1 指导学生完成课本A 部分的练习。教师说:We have many subjects at school. Please look at the pictures in Part A. Write the name of each subject under each picture.2 与学生一起看图交流 。教师说: Look at Picture One. What subject does Kitty have ? Look at Picture Two . What subject do they have ? 以此方法,检查学生对新知识的掌握。Step III 呈现1 利用学生的课程表,呈现新知识。教师说:Whats the date today?板书date. 教师一边在黑板上写下当天的日期,一边说:Its .Here is your schedule . What lessons do you have today ? 鼓励学生用刚学过的知识,根据实际情况回答。接着教师说:Whats the date tomorrow ? What lessons do you have tomorrow? 通过学生的回答检验学生掌握情况。2 继续利用课程表和学生的作息表,呈现新知识。教师说: What time is your Maths lesson? What time does your Chinese lesson begin? 启发学生根据实际情况回答:It begins at .oclock. 板书oclock.教师在说:Do you have a class meeting every week? Do you have a parents meeting? 板书meeting 教师接着说: Some schools have an Open Day .Its for parents to visit school. Do you have an Open Day? Whats the date of your Open Day ?Do you want an Open Day ? Would you like an Open Day ? 鼓励学生根据实际情况回答。3 向学生介绍B部分的语境。教师说:Millie wants her mother to come to school on the Open Day .Please listen to the tape and answer these questions.(1) Whats the date of the Open Day in Millies school?(2) Can Millies mother go to her school?(3) What time does the parents meeting begin?(4) What else do parents do after the meeting?(5) Where does Millie meet her mother?Step IV 操练1 播放录音,让学生朗读对话。2 将班级分为两大组,或按男女生分角色朗读对话。Step V 展示1 安排学生以同桌为单位编写对话。教师说: Boys and girls, imagine that your school will have an Open Day. Who would you like to invite to school? What do you want him/her to do with you ? It is so good .板书so. 接着问学生: What can you see in the school? 鼓励学生根据实际情况回答:We can see tall trees , beautiful flowers and a playground .2. 教师接着向学生呈现事先准备好的校园图片。教师说:In our school, we can also see some buildings. Look at this building. Some tall trees are in front of it .板书building 和in front of .教师呈现更多图片并说: Whats in front of .? Which building is our classroom in ? Which building is our art room in? Which building is our school hall in ? 板书hall, 检验学生掌握的情况。教师接着说:Look at this building . How many floors are there in the building? 和学生一起数:Lets count. One, two, three, four. Oh, there are four floors in this building .指着一楼说:This is the ground. Is our classroom on the ground floor? 板书ground 和on the ground floor, 鼓励学生根据实际情况回答。3. 教师利用所在教室呈现新知识。教师说: Our classroom is on floor. The classroom is so bright .We have a computer room too. It looks very modern. 板书 bright 和modern.Step II 操练1 向学生展示校园的平面示意图,指导他们用学过的表达谈论自己的校园。教师说:Our school is a beautiful school. Today, some foreign visitors come to our school. Would you please look at the map and introduce our school to them? 教师可以为学生提供一些句型: (1)There are buildings in our school. (2) There are floors in the building. (3) is on the ground floor. (4) The classroom is .(5) is in front of2 鼓励学生看平面图,用简单的语言介绍学校。对有能力的学生,可以启发他们用更丰富的语言介绍。Step III 呈现1向学生介绍课文对话背景,并呈现新知识。教师说:Today is the Open Day in Millies school. Millie meets her mother at the school gate . She is ready to show her mother around the school.板书 show sb around2 向学生呈现校园内不同建筑物和活动场地的图片,指导学生阅读对话,并指出图片所代表的地点。教师说: Here are some pictures of different places in Millies school. Lets follow Millie to visit her school and know the places. 为学生播放录音,鼓励学生读完对话后说出图片上的地点:the playground ,the classroom building ,the classroom, the art room ,the music room, the computer room, the library and the hall.3 指导学生再次听录音,以便对Millie 的学校有进一步的了解,之后通过课本B1和B2部分的练习检查学生的掌握情况。教师说:Please read the conversation again. Then Id like to check how well you know Millies school4 安排学生根据对话内容,完成B2的判断练习。教师说: Look at the information about Sunshine Middle School in Part B2. Read the conversation once more . Then write a T if the sentence is true. Write an F if it is false .Step IV 操练1 再次为学生播放录音,指导他们跟读对话。教师说:Lets read Millie and her mothers conversation after the tape .2 将班级分为两大组,请学生分别扮演Millie 和她的妈妈朗读对话。教师说 Id like these two groups to be Millie and these two groups to be her mother. Shall we read the conversation? Then we can change the roles.如有需要还可以分男女再次朗读。3 创设情境,组织学生以四人小组为单位,针对课文互相提问。教师说: Millies father doesnt go to her school on the Open Day. So he is asking Millies mother some questions . Suppose you are Millies father. What do you want to know about Millie and her school? 对能力较弱的学生,教师可提供一些问题供他们参考:(1)Where do you meet today ?(2) How does Millies school look?(3) What about the playground /library?(4) How many classrooms are there in the classroom building?(5) Where is Millies classroom?(6) What do you think of Millies classroom?(7) What else is in her school?(8) Where do you have the meeting?.Step V 活动1 指导学生两人一组练习对话表演。教师说:Its role-play time. She is your history teacher. They are very kind. They are good teachers. 教师一边介绍,一边将这些句子写在黑板上。5. 教师用彩色笔标注 出人称代词,请学生说说这些人称代词 的含义及他们分别指代的人或物。(1)It is our school. (2) You study here. (3)I teach English here. (4) We always begin classes at 8 a.m.(5) He is our principal. (6) She is your history teacher. (7) They are very kind. You can ask me some questions .(4) We always begin classes at 8 a.m. So let us go to school early.(5) He is our principal. You can call him Mr(6) She is your history teacher.
