Is he/she-?四, Teaching difficulty: lean and use the words and sentences.五, Teaching steps:Step1: Warm up and revision:T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? I want to be happy with you. Lets forget unhappy things and be happy together, ok? Now, lets sing the song happily: “Chinese teacher图 math teacher图 English teacher 图art teacher图 science teacher 图music teacher 图 I like my teachers.” T:You are so happy,your voice is so nice. Next, lets do together. If you do very well, I will give your group a flower.Are you interested? “ Be tall, be tall, be tall tall tall图. Be short be short be short short short图. Be funny be funny be funny funny funny图. Be friendly, be friendly be friendly friendly图. Be quiet be quiet be quiet quiet quiet. 图”Step 2 lead- in and presentation 1 lean the words: young, old, funny, kind.T: 指着lets do 里的图问:Yao Ming is tall , this man is short. Zhao Benshan is funny. The girl is quiet. What about the boy/girl/grandma/grandpa/man?(拿出单词卡片教单词)(引出单词young, old, funny, kind.并在句子中教读,如Zhao Benshan is funny. My grandma is old.并纠正发音。) 操练新词: (1)T: Your pronunciation is so good. Can you find the right words? Read after me and point the words. (2)T:You can understand the words now. can you match the pictures with the words? Please answer me quickly.2 Present the new sentences and the words together:T: (接上一环节的连线练习) The girl is young. The grandma is old. The boy is funny and the teacher is kind. What about Miss Xue? Do you know Miss Xue ?Ss: Yes, I do .Two new students: No, I dont. Who is she?T: Is she funny/young?再练习两张图片,学生抢答。3.Use the words and sentences.T: (接上一环节) They are teachers in our school, I like them very much. I like funny teachers. I like kind teachers and I like friendly teachers. What about you? Lets do a survey. 4 present lets talk.T: The result of the survey is that you like funny teachers and kind teachers. I will try to be like that. Do you like Mr Jhones and Miss White? They are Wu Yifan and Olivers teacher. What are they like? Listen to the tape and tick or cross. Check the answer. Read the conversation. Read after the tape. Read together. Read in pairs. Make a song: T: Do you like Mr Jhones and Miss White? Lets make a song for them, ok?“Do you know Mr young? Who is he?
