In section one: it mainly deals with the dialogue about “whats your favorite food? “and answers. And in sections two it provides a real situation for students to apply the pattern 教材所处地位PEP primary school English book 5 教学目标 Teaching aims 1 Aims on the knowledge 1 To enable the students to understand and speak: whats your favorite food, my favorite food is fish.” make sure that students can use these sentence in real situation. 2 To help students to finish the survey 3 Let the students play a role in the lets talk 2 Aims on abilities 1 To develop students abilities of listening and speaking 2 To train the students ability of working in groups 3 To foster students abilities of communication and innovation 3 Aims on emotion 1 To foster students consciousness of good cooperate and proper competition2 To cultivate students consciousness of heath diet 教学重点和难点 Key points1 To help students ask and answer the question:”whats your favorite food? 2 To enable students study in groups and cooperate skillfully 3 To develop s interest in English Difficult points 1 The pronunciation of word “favorite”说教法围绕教学的主题和对以往教学的改进创新。 Teaching methods In this lesson Ill mainly use task based teaching method .that is to say Ill let the s learn in real situation finish a task by making a survey to help the s to get a better understanding of the key structure of dialogue .Ill arrange four kinds of actives :sing, finishing a survey and group work ,have a competition .说学法Task-based teaching method说教学过程 Teaching design Step1: warm up and preview Sing the song together: what would you like? Daily oral practice Play the record part of lets try listen and number Step 2: presentation Present the pattern: whats your favorite food? Show three food picture, and say: I like chicken beef and fish. Teacher point to the chicken and say: I like chicken and drawn a smile face beside the chicken .then point the beef and say : I like beef better and draw two smile faces beside it ,finally point to the fish and say I like fish best and draw three smile faces beside it .then summary say so my favorite food is fish . Then show the word card favorite, and then let the s guess what the meaning of favourite? Then lead the s to read the sentence dddd and make sure they can say it correctly. Listen the tape of pair work let the s follow and speak Making a dialogue to practice in pairs, and teacher guide the s to replace food with fruits or drinks Step3: Practice Divide s into groups of six children, each one would finish the printed form by asking and answering: whats your favorite food, and why ? Then find out which group finishes faster. Step4: production Make a advertisement for the food you lik
