Its eight oclock in the morning. Its 9:00 a.m. and Zhu Huis family are at home. Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to have his moms delicious zongzi. 2. 情感态度价值观目标:不断增进学生间的友好相处,规范他们的行为,提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,使学生在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,了解中西方文化的不同,对学生进行必要的爱国主义教育。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课出现的生词。2) 进一步练习运用现在进行时态的句子来描述他人正在做的事情。3) 通过听、说、读、写的练习,提高学生们的综合运用英语能力。2. 教学难点: 阅读短文,获得相关信息,完成相关任务。三、教学过程Step 1 Warming- up and revision Review the knowledge on the present progressive tense by asking and answering the following questions:T: Whats she doing?Ss: She is running.T: What are they doing?Ss: They are taking photos.Step 2 Work on 2aLook at the clocks and ask students about the time in different places.Step 3 Reading 1. Fast Reading Read the article and answer the two questions. Why are Zhu Huis family watching boat race and making zongzi? Does Zhu Hui like his host family? What about his home in China? Ss read the article quickly and find the answers to the two questions. Check the answers with the class. 2. Careful Reading Read the article again. What are these people doing now?
