学情分析 初一的学生生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏,竞赛,画画特别感兴趣。因此,在设计课堂教学活动时应采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学,学中玩的教学情境。大部分的学生有很明确的学习目标,学习态度端正,学习积极性高,但学习自主性不太强,基础较薄弱。故在课堂上应多以表扬为主,注重对学生英语学习兴趣的培养,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力讲。另一方面,学生虽然在小学已经接触过英语,有一定的基础,但是在学习方法和学习策略上还有很大差距。因此在实施英语教学过程中,也应重视对学生学习方法和答题技巧的培养。同时,培养学生养成良好的听、说、读、写等学习习惯,提高课堂教学效率。教学工具Electronic Whiteboards, computer, powerpoint, chalk, blackboard, papers, pens, pictures.教学目标1、Knowledge and Skills:(1) Students can understand and master the following words:spend, spend time, climb, road, often, air, sunshine, free, enjoy, enjoy reading, easily, money(2) Students can master the following words: I like to spend time there on weekends. I love to watch the monkeys climbing around. It is very quiet and I enjoy reading there. You can get to the library easily. The best things do not need money.2、Process and Methods :(1) Make full use of the Electronic Whiteboard and pictures, creating scenarios to let students have the desire to participate in learning ,and guide students to actively participate in classroom activities, as the main body of teaching and learning.(2) Advocates the combination of autonomous learning and cooperative learning to improve the learning efficiency.(3) Help students to build their own English categories thesaurus to improve the efficiency of remembering new words.3、Emotion Attitude and Values:(1) Let students learn about places we often use in life, and know their functions.(2) Understand some English expressions of places(3) Cultivate the studentscompetitive cooperation through competition and group work.教学重难点1、Teaching Important Points:1) Words and expressions: spend, spend time, enjoy,neighborhood and so on.2) Important sentences in 2b. I love to watch the monkeys climbing around.2、Teaching Difficult Points:1) How to ask and answer questions about places accurately.2) Using the map to describe ones own neighborhood to others.3) Reading strategy: Find the key words and sentences.教学方法1) Presentation, integrated listening, reading, speaking and writing into the classroom, and combine the group cooperation, learning method and task-based teaching method.2) Fast reading strategy, find out key sentences and key words.教学过程Step1 Warming upListen to a songto review some words and phrase about directions: across from, next to, betweenand, write them on the blackboard.Step 2 Revision1) Ask students to read the sentence about how to ask the way: Excuse me, is there a bank near here?/where is the bank?/how can I get to the bank?2) Ask students to write sentences about how to show the way: Go / Walk along the street. Turn left/right at the crossing Its on my left/right. Its next to/ across from3) Exercising Teacher prepared some word cards:North Road, Bridge Road, Long Street, Center Street, hotel and supermarket. Showing the ways in the classroom, ask students to find out hotel and supermarket.Step 3 New wordsTeach nine new words: neighborhood, sunshine, money, often, climb, monkey, bookstore, spend, enjoyStep 4 Fast reading1) Read the passages and match each passage with a map, finish 2c.2) Draw the way from Annas home to the zoo. Draw the way from Johns home to the park. Draw the way from Lisas home to the library.Step 5 Careful reading1) Read the first passage carefully and fill in the blanks.
