Read the words aloud.Step 2Lead-in (5 minutes)(1). Play a song-“ Thank you”, let the students try to find the singer wants to show thanks to whom?(2). Ask some questions,give students a first impression of Thanksgiving Day Which of the Western festival do you like most? Have you ever heard of Thanksgiving Day? Do you want to know about it?Step 3Presentation (24 minutes )(1). Ask students to listen to the tape carefully and underline the sentence or phrase which is unknown.(2). Fast-reading.Ask students to read the text quickly and complete the following form so as to let students acquaint themselves with the text.
