Im taller/shorter than you.等重点句型的学习和操练，教材通过孩子们对比身高、年龄等情景呈现了单词比较级的词形和意义。【教学目标】1知识目标：（1）掌握四会单词：younger, older, taller, shorter, longer。（2）能认读句型：How tall are you ? Im 1.61meters.Youre older than me.。（3）知道than是比较的意思，than前面要用形容词比较级(-er)。（4）了解m、表示长度单位，并知道它的读音，会回答句型：How tall are you? Im _m.找几个同学练习注意讲解m是meter 的缩写，“米”。不管前面的数字有多大，书写时一般使用单数形式，如：1.6m.但读的时候要读成meter。超过1米时，要读其复数形式meters. 让学生进行pair-work，进行对话练习。并结合实际情况，适时引出Im taller/shorter than you.,教授单词than，学生个别读，全体读，反复练习。2、教学taller /shorter，younger、older时，借用了学生熟悉的喜欢的明星的图片，学生一看就非常感兴趣。利用他们明显相对的特征教学形容词及比较级，如：“Yao Ming is tall.”“Pan Changjiang is short.”“Yao Ming is taller than Pan Changjiang.”“Pan Changjiang is shorter than Yao Ming.”“Xiao Yu is younger than Liu Xing. ”“Liu Xing is older than Xiao Yu.”学生很容易很轻松就懂得了tall short；taller shorter；youngold；youngerolder 及than的用法及其关系。课件出示人物图片，Can you say something about this picture ?
