新目标英语Go for it八年级上册Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?Section B Period 4 教学设计 学 校:韶关市一中实验学校 教 师:王奕珊课题(Topic): Do you want to watch a game show ? 教材版本: 新目标英语使用年级:八年级(上册)单元名称:Do you want to watch a game show?设计人/单位:地市:韶关市 学校:韶关市一中实验学校 设计人名单:王奕珊授课班级: 韶关一中实验学校八年9班全体学生学情分析处于八年级阶段的学生进入了一个新的人生阶段。在学习上和生活上都处于转变的关键期。学习上面临新的科目的加入,旧科目的难度增加,作业量的增多,所面临的学习压力越来越大;生活上随着生理变化产生的不良情绪和习惯越来越明显。在孩子们面临种种新挑战新困难之时,老师从课堂渗透情感教育显得十分有必要。另,在英语知识上,学生对本单元主题“电视节目-卡通”的兴趣浓厚;而日常学习中,学生对阅读篇章的掌握是最薄弱的,因难度大,学生完成阅读信心不足。因此寓教于乐,将难度大的内容通过轻松且层层递进的方式讲授会更为学生接受;从中再渗透阅读技巧的培养和巩固,为长远的英语阅读能力做了很多的铺垫。教材分析本节课的内容为新目标英语Go for it 八年级上册第五单元第四课时。围绕卡通人物米奇老鼠为主题,要求学生能读懂2b这篇难度较大且需要掌握一定文化背景知识的文章。本节课主题与学生实际生活密切相关,易营造积极高涨的学习氛围。而颇具难度的阅读篇章(体现在生词短语多,句子结构复杂,篇章长,难上口,对背景文化知识有一定的要求),也会通过由易到难,层层递进的多种活动方式,培养学生的阅读技巧、塑造阅读信心。教学目标分析:(一)语言知识目标: Key words:culture, cartoon, appear, become, rich, successful, might, reason, main, common, film, unlucky, lose, girlfriend, ready, character, Hollywood Walk of Fame, simple. Important phrases: think of, over 80 years ago, In 1930s, one of the main reasons, face danger, try to do sth., try ones best to do sth., such as, be like, come out, (二)语言技巧目标:1. 说:能就本课时的卡通主题,根据自己对各国文化标志的认识展开讨论和分享。能就文章的大意进行思考且与小组展开讨论。2. 读:能在规定的时间内阅读理解篇章,掌握长句子难句子的读法,能利用关 键词复述课文。3. 写:在老师的引导帮助下,根据题目给出的相关内容提示和要求,用所学的内容和技巧,通过小组合作,制作出一份“私人档案”,彰显个性和创意,且与课文内容紧密相关。(三)情感态度目标: 能理解卡通做过美国文化标志的意义;透过对主人翁米奇老鼠的进一步认识去思考作者Walt Disney当时创作这个角色的历史背景,体验“米奇精神”-不管面临多大的苦难,只要坚持努力勇敢,一切都能变得美好!(四)学习策略目标:通过游戏、观看视频、制作卡片等多种生动活泼的教学手段,为学生设置真实有趣的情景,运用任务型教学,设计一些生动、有比赛竞争、有意义的任务,让学生在完成这些任务的过程中,进一步锻炼和提高英语语言的综合运用能力。教学过程设计分析课型:以阅读为主,结合听说读写能力训练。时间:40分钟教学要求:通过本节课的学习让学生了解世界各国文化的标志,且深入了解其中美国文化的一种标志-卡通。通过阅读、视频、游戏等引导学生一步步熟悉文章,并掌握重要的阅读技巧:快速阅读归纳文章大意、联系上下文猜生词、运用关键词理解整句大意、根据时间轴等关键信息快速定位目标信息。教学辅助工具:PPT、实物投影仪、彩笔、卡纸、剪刀、视频、展示板两块。板书设计:Topic: Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?Section B Period 4 File Wall: Star Wall Group 1: Group 6: Group 2: Group 7: Group 3: Group 8: Group 4: Group 9: Group 5: Group 10: 教学设计:步骤目的教师活动方法学生活动学法条件手段Step1:Warming- up andLead-in (5 minutes)1. Lead in the topic of cartoon character today. 2. Warm up some famous and interesting characters they know to get close to the topic. 1. Body vote about “Do you like cartoons ?” 2. Tell students my problem and ask them who the cartoon character is. 3. Guessing Game about cartoon characters(激趣引入法)1. Move according to the vote requirement. 2. Tell who the cartoon character on the post card is. 3. According to four students sentences and gesture, guess more characters.(愉快学习法)多媒体电脑评分板提问互动式竞赛形式Step 2:Pre-reading(8 minutes)1. Help students to know Mickey Mouse better. 2. Get first understanding of some key words. 3. Know the background of this passage.4.
