英语新标准(三年级起始用)第四册授课教师：李娟娟授课地点：东安小学授课班级：四年（2）班授课时间：2008.5.16Module 7 CountriesUnit 1 New York is in the east.教学设想： 本节课我首先以一首同学们学过的歌曲“London bridge is falling down.”，导入教学。由位于中国地图上东西南北的四个城市，来引出东西南北的单词教学，把单词的教学与句型相结合，如：north-Beijing is in the north.。从中国走向其他国家美国，教授美国的三个城市和它们的位置。最后以一个小记者调查，来展示今天学生学习的成果。本节课采用全身反应法、任务型教学法、情境教学法等进行教学。课 时：第一课时教学目标：知识与技能目标：1、能听懂、会说、会读表示方向的名词：east， west，south ，north ，also, call, speak, right, city, cousin, USA和三个城市的名称：New York ，San Francisco ，Washington D.C 。2、能听懂、会说、会读句型：Its in the east/ west/south /north. New York is in the east.认知目标：1、谈论国家和它们的首都：Washington D.C is the capital of the USA.2、能够用四个表示方向的词来谈论城市的位置。情感目标： 通过对本课的学习， 让学生了解有关美国的一些知识，培养他们跨文化意识和国际视野。通过引导学生参与游戏、竞争等丰富多彩的教学活动，激发了学生的学习兴趣和积极思维的能力，培养学生的合作精神和竞争意识。教学重点：1、能听懂、会说、会读词汇：east，west，south ，north， New York，San Francisco，Washington D.C. 。2、能听懂、会说、会读句型：Its in the east/ west/south /north. New York is in the east.教学难点：运用学过的单词、句型正确地表述城市的位置。教学准备：多媒体课件教学过程：Step 1: Warming up / Revision 1、 Greetings Hello boys and girls. How are you ?2、 Sing a song：London bridge is falling down.3、 T：刚才我们唱歌时，有唱到什么城市？Ss：London.T：好，现在我们来欣赏一些图片，你们猜猜是哪些城市。（欣赏四个城市的风景Beijing，Hainan，Shanghai，Lasa。）4、 T：OK，can you guess which cities do you see？Ss：Beijing，Hainan，Shanghai，Lasa.T：Yes，very good. Look at the map of China. What will the weather like tomorrow？（说说四个城市的天气）如：It will be sunny in Beijing.Step 2 Presentation （新授内容）1、T：Do you know where are Beijing，Hainan，Shanghai，Lasa？（我们说了这些城市的天气，那你们知道它们位于中国地图的哪些方位吗？） Ss：它们分别在中国地图的东西南北。2、 T：OK，today we are going to learn these four directions. Where is Beijing？ Ss：北边。 （先教授“north”，上面是北，下面就是南，上北下南，左西右东。读单词时，用手指show me your hands。） 教授northnorthin the north（在北边）3、 教授单词“south”，southsouthin the south。（操练时，可以请单个学生、小组、两个两个学生等形式，教授完一个单词后，请一位学生去板书，其他学生写在本子上。）4、 Play a game老师说单词，学生跟读并指方位。5、 Teach the words：east，west.easteastin the east, westwestin the west6、 Play a game：拍苍蝇7、 Play a game快速闪现单词，比比谁的眼力好。 8、T：Now，let us say a chant.（边说边做动作） East，east，its in the east. West，west，its in the west. North，north，its in the north. South，south，its in the south.9、Practicing T：Look at the map of China. Where is Beijing？Who can tell me？ S1：Its in the north. T：Very good. You can ask a student“where is Shanghai？”.（老师问完后，让回答的学生再去问另一学生。）先两组问，两组答，或男女声问答。T: Now, practice like this in pairs. Talk about these cities, where are they？ Step 3 学习三个城市1、T: 刚才我们说了中国的城市，现在老师带你们去另一个国家看一看，你们知道America是哪个国家吗？S: 美国。（教授单词“America”）2、T：你们知道每个还有一种称呼是什么吗？Its also called the USA.（Teach word“the USA”.） T：美国说什么语言呢？ Ss：English. T：Yes, people speak English in America.（Teach word“speak”，说中文是speak Chinese。）3、T：你们知道美国的首都是哪吗？Its Washington D.C.（Teach “Washington D.C.）T: Do you know where is Washington D.C.？Ss: Its in the east.（Teach the sentence“Washington D.C. is in the east.”）4、 T: 在美国还有另外两个著名的城市，它们是纽约和旧金山。They are New York and San Francisco.（Teach word“New York，San Francisco”，New York is very big. San Francisco is a nice city.）5、 Play a game：传声筒每个小组第一位同学传纸条上的单词，传到最后一位同学迅速到讲台上找出所传的单词卡片，全班同学齐读。6、 T：OK. You know Washington D.C. is in the east. And can you guess where are New York and San Francisco？S1：New York is in the east.S2：San Francisco is in the west. 7、T：Look at these two maps. Talk about where are they. For example：New York is in the east.（出示美国和中国地图，说说地图上的城市位于哪个方位。） Step 4 学习课文1、Listen to the tape and draw out the new words.（听音画新单词）2、Listen again and read after it.3、Listen again and repeat.4、Read by yourselves.（全班齐读）Step 5 知识拓展Make a survey.（小记者调查）Cities：Beijing，Washington D.C.，New York，San Francisco姓 名 方位城市in the eastin the westin the northin the southWhich cities do you like ？ Where is it？eg：Daming likes Beijing. Its in the north.四人小组内先调查，调查完本组后，再去调查其他同学或老师，每个小组最后要派一位代表来反馈调查结果。Step 6 SummaryT：What do we learn today？（今天我们学习了什么？）Ss：east，west，north，south.
