Who is she? What is she?Q2. What do you think of my life with students?Q3. Do you want to be a teacher like me? What do you want to be when you grow up?2. Brainstorm: Imagine your future jobShow two different photos of a student in different times. One is what a student looks like now, the other is what he looks like in the future.Brainstorm:Can you imagine your future job?Step2 : PresentationTask 1.Be quick with hands and sharp eyes: Enjoy a video and write down the jobs you see in the video. Ask students to discuss in groups and give them scores as prize: Q1. How many jobs can you see in the video? What are they? Q2. Which job is interesting? Q3. What do you want to be when you grow up?Task 2. New words study and play a guessing game. Explain the new words of profession that students may not know in the video like engineer, pilot. Hide some part of the pictures and play a guessing game to learn other new words like computer programmer, scientist, pianist, violinist(music will also be followed) Task3. Lets compare and chant the words. Use mind map to list some jobs and ask students to pay attention to “er/r/or/ist.” Play a chant to get familiar with the words.(Play a popular song of EXO)Task 4. Activity 1a. Q: Do you want to be a singer just like GD?How are you going to do that.?Do you want to be a pilot? How are you going to do that?Play a video of how to be a pilot.(运用超链接播放视频)Step3 : Listening1. Look at the pictures. Listen and learn how to be a computer programmer, an engineer and so on. (1b) Listen and fill in the blanks. Then match the items. Then ask one student to show his answers. 2. Ask students to practice the conversation.Step 4 : Post listening Task1 Interview Ask students to make an interview and talk about dream jobs in their groups. And they can use their own sentences. ( Play music of Big Bang at the same time) Task 2 Show time (开门大吉游戏) 1. If students are active, they can put up their hands. If students are shy, I will use the big wheel to choose groups to show their interview. 2. Show time. Give Students some pieces of nice paper and ask them to write their dreams on the paper, then stick them on the blackboard behind. 2. Write a report about your classmates life goals. Listen to the music and enjoy the photos of the teacher. Think about their dream jobs. Imagine you have grown up, whats your job? And think about different jobs.Brainstorm and share the jobs.Watch the video about jobs and write down the words on a piece of paper.Discuss in groups and share answers together.Present the result of their discussionLearn some new words that we saw in the video.Play a guessing game to learn more words of profession.Play a chant to remember the words.Think and talk about which job is the most interesting or what do you want to be?Watch the video of how to be a pilot.Listen to the recording twice and get information.Practice the conversations according to the mind map and structure.Work in groups and make conversations as much as possible. Think about what we learned today.What are we going to do?How are we going to make our dream come true?先利用音乐和老师的照片吸引学生注意,激发兴趣,然后提几个问题巧妙导入新课。使用美图对本班学生照片进行P图,想象未来的自己是什么职业,头脑风暴,引导学生说出所知道的职业,达到课始趣亦生的境界。 通过看一段关于职业的英文小视频,考查学生反应能力和对职业单词的熟悉程度,此外视频中出现了工程师和飞行员等职业,既为下一步讲授新词做铺垫,又起到温故而知新的作用。 引导学生小组合作共享成果,培养小组合作能力和竞争意识。 在情境中感知目标语言。通过解释视频中出现的新单词,让学生更清晰地了解这些职业。通过遮住图片、听音乐等方式玩猜词游戏来学习新单词,打破传统的机械记忆,有利于激发学生积极性,活跃课堂气氛,学生可以在愉快而有效的氛围中牢记职业单词。 播放EXO的热门音乐“咆哮”,通过简单的说唱熟悉职业词汇,同时调动学生背单词的积极性和趣味性。 利用思维导读方便学生记忆和区分。通过说唱引出如何成为一名歌手,通过观看飞行员训练的短视频,引导学生思考如何成为心目中的职业,从而引出听力任务。既学会了使用be going to 也达到了情感教育,需要努力实现未来。 根据听力任务设置对应的对话结构导图,让学生清晰明了操练对话,熟悉目标语言。 通过设置采访的任务,让学生小组自由对话,询问未来职业和其他观点,集思广益,培养学生的口语表达能力、思维拓展能力和小组合作能力。通过大转盘选小组是为了以防学生不积极而采取的方式,可以让学生积极参与展示,以防尴尬局面。听歌识曲,开门大吉,进
