Can you tell us?Then T shows some pictures of legends: The Match Girl, The Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, The Emperors New Clothes.Step2. Lead-in.China is a country with a history of 5,000 years old. Because of its colorful culture, there are many traditional legends. Today were going to learn some of them.Step3. Watching.Show some pictures to the class.1. Hou Yi shoots the suns. shoot-shot2. Journey to the west.3. Nu Wa repairs the sky.4. Yu Gong moves a mountain.Step4. Presentation.1. Look at the pictures and guess the English names (the main character).2. Match the pictures with the English names.3. Read the names of the story in the box.Step5. Listening.1. Students read the sentences together, and present the new items in them.2. Circle the key words in each sentence.3. Play the tape the first time. Students listen and check the facts they hear, which story are Anna and Wang Ming talking about?4. Ask some students to check the answers.5. Listen and repeat sentence by sentence, and T explains some key and difficult points if necessary.Step6. A discussion.1. Discuss the questions in groups, using the pictures to help you. How does the story begin? What happened next?2. Encourage the students to retell the story in their own words.3. Invite some to retell the story to the class.Step7. Listening.T: Do you know what happened next? Did Yu Gong succeed at last?Lets listen to the tape and see what happened?1. Play the tape the first time. Students only listen.2. Play again.
