Unit 6 Im watching TV 教案 (section A 1a-2d)儋州市第五中学 万浩萍一、 教学目标1、知识与技能 :知识目标:(1)熟记本节课新单词和短语:newspaper,use,soup,wash,movie,just.(2)能使用以下句型进行交际: what are you doing?-Im watching TV. whats he doing?- He using the computer? what are they doing?-Theyre listening to a CD.(3)初步了解现在进行时态以及其构成。 (4) 通过听说技能的训练,能够利用本节课所学的句型描述他人正在做的事情。2、过程与方法:1)用歌曲“are you sleeping?”导入新课,激发学生学习兴趣,并为接下来的教学环节作铺垫。 2)利用教学图片和多媒体课件等丰富的教学资源展开课堂教学 3)通过pairwork和 role-play等活动,学生积极参与整个课堂的学习过程3、情感态度与价值观:通过描述同学、老师或自己正在进行的事,引导学生学会在人际交往中尊重和理解别人,了解别人的爱好,增进友谊。二、教学重点:1、掌握并运用本节课新单词和短语2、正确现在进行时描述他人正在做什么三、教学难点:正确现在进行时描述他人正在做什么四、教学方法:任务型教学法五、教学课时:1课时(40分钟)六、教学过程Step1warming-up and lead-in1、 Greeting as usal2、 Play an English song “Are you sleeping?”3、 Step 2 presentation 1、show some pictures on the big screen, present the new words and expressions.2、Students watch and learn the new words and expressions.3、Give students some time and try to remember the new words and expressions.4、Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the action, then ask students, e.g T: what are you doing? S: Im watching TV(help he/her to answer)Ask another student: e.g T: what is he/she doing? S: he is watching TV (help he/her to answer) Teaching : cleaning,reading a newspaper,listening to a CD as the same way. 解释:动词-ing 形式的变化: watch-watching 1.v+ing Make- making 2.去掉不发音e,+ing Swim-swimming 3.双写末尾辅音字母+ing5、work on 1a. 1)students read the activities in 1a aloud for twice, then match the activities with pictures. 2) check the answer with students.Step 3 listening (1b)1、 explain the instruction. Let students read the names2、 play the recording first time,students only listen carefully3、 play the recording again and check the answer.Step 4 pair work (1c)1、 ask the students to read the conversations in 1c with a partner.2、 Let students talk about what people are doing in the picture in1a.3、 Show more pictures of activies like playing piano,seeing a movie and so on. students make conversations according to the picture and practice the conversations.4、Step 5 listening 2a、2b1、 work on 2a. play the recording for the first time,students only listen carefully.then, listen to the recording again, and match the answer with the questions.2、 Work on 2b. let students read the conversation 2b. play the recording for the students twice.the first time,students only listen and write down the words in the blanks. then play the recording again and check the answer.Step 6 role play (2c, 2d)1、 students role play the conversation in 2b2、 ask students to read the conversation in 2d,and answer the two question below: 1) whats Laura doing? 2) whats Jenny doing? 3、 Check the answer above4、 Let students read 2d again and find out the difficult words and sentences.
