Can we listen to it in class?”.Watch a video, talk about the rules they broke in the movie.1a Looking and writingLets look at the picture. What are the students doing in the picture? Which rules are they breaking? What do you want to say to them? Oh, there are five rules on the left. Lets see what they are. 1. Dont arrive late for class.2. Dont run in the hallways.3. Dont eat in the classrooms.4. Dont listen to music in classrooms or the hallways.5. Dont fight. Since we have got to know about these rules, please write the number of the rule next to the student. Then lets check the answers.1. A boy is looking at his watch.2. A boy is running in the hallway.3. A girl is eating an apple.4. A boy is listening music with headphones in the classroom.5. Two boys are fighting with each other.1b Listening ( Do you have clever ears?) Now listen carefully to a conversation. Pay attention to what rules these students are breaking. Ill play the recording twice. The first time I play the tape, you just listen. When you listen to it the second time, write the numbers after the names. The right answers should be:Peter: 2 Selina: 3 Nick: 4 Go to page 88 to read the conversation. While reading remember to cut/ the sentence into thought groups, study all the predicates, circle all the linking words and underline all the expressions. Useful expressions from the conversationknow the rules, run in the hallways, eat in class, listen to music in classNow read the conversation again to turn it into a text.Turn the conversation into a text.
