Step 2 Review the new words.Step 3 Lead in and finish 1a.1. Ask students: Do you like listening or telling stories? What traditional stories do you know?2. Then show the pictures on the screen and let the students guess the name of the stories in English. 3. Then let the students finish the task in 1a and check the answers together. Step 4 Listening and finish 1b. 1. Let students read the sentences in 1b2. Play the tape twice and check the answers. 3. Play the tape for the third time and ask the students to read after the tape Step 5 Discussing and finish 1c.1. Then the teacher shows the following questions： How does the story begin? Why did the old man want to move the mountain? So what happened next? What did he ask his family to do ?
