农村区域发展专业本科培养方案Rural Development Program for UndergraduateCollege of Humanities and Development一、培养目标Objective本专业培养掌握农村发展管理理论和方法的复合型人才。要求毕业生掌握发展学科的基本理论、发展研究的基本方法，具备在宏观政策层面、机构层面以及社区层面进行发展规划、项目实施、监测评估、以及组织管理的能力。毕业生将成为从事农村发展研究、发展管理与发展实践的中高级人才，就业于国内与国际的政府或非政府发展机构、政策研究与制定机构、以及非盈利性组织等。Objective: This specialty will lead to becoming knowledgeable and capable rural development managers. Graduates will be able to use rural development theories and methods to address, in practice, key rural development issues. They will have the capacities of development planning, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation of rural development activities and organizational management at the policy level, the organizational level, and the community level. Graduates will be able to work for national and international rural development government and non-government agencies, policy research and policy-making organizations, and non-profit organizations.二、主干学科（中英文对照）发展理论与方法、发展社会学、发展经济学。Core subjects: Development theories and methods, Development sociology, Development economics.三、学制与授予学位门类四年制本科，实行弹性学习年限；授予学位： 管理学 学学士学位。Term and degree: four years program; What is very important, of course, is the matter of progression, that is, how students learning each year builds on what they have learned in the previous year (ie cumulative learning). It seems to me that it may help if courses were grouped or clustered by their focus (and learning objectives), for example, courses on development more broadly; courses on the environmental, social and economic aspects of rural development; and (many!) courses on management more generally and methods of rural development more specifically - but perhaps you already do this?Henry Bernstein伦敦大学亚非研究所教授，发展学专家专家评审意见之二I have done my best to look at the program. As for the total credits, the reduction from 185 to 160 is considerable, and so it makes me wonder what the logic is? What strikes me though as far more important, is the very fragmented character of the program, with so many courses, and not such a clear coherence (at least, this is my reading from far away). As for the increase of selective course, I think this is positive! What would the ideal be? Maybe 50% The addition of more courses to select from is also positive, allowing for better fine-tuning to each students interests. But gender, and environment should be core subjects (see below). My strong opinion on this element. It is also good to specify practice, but I note that in this element, again there seems so much fragmentation.OK, now to the program (documents):The Objective section is good, even very good. I note that two key words are missing (again, my strong opinion): rural; and participatory.The Core subjects seem a mix of one subject and two disciplines. Again, there is no rural in Development theories and Methodologies.If we look at the Objective, one discipline seems to be missing: Management science. There is sociology and economy (and many courses included). There are also many Management courses listed, but Management Science is not included in core subjects. This seems illogic.Looking at the Basic subject courses (table 2-2-5), I count 5 Development, 1 Economy, 3 Sociology, and 1 Management courses for the compulsory ones. I also note 3 Methodologies courses (although for Anthropology it is combined with Theory). Is there not a way to group the Development courses together? The same for the Sociology ones? What about the balance between sociology-economics-managem
