They can give some advice about buying clothes.Teaching points: 1. words: blue white big small T-shirt panda take nice lovely try 2.sentences: Its too big / small for you. Teaching meterials: a tape recorder, some T-shirts and pictures. Teaching ways: warming up, presentation and practice. Learning ways: look listen and say.Teaching steps:Step1: Warming up: T shows a picture of a rainbow to Ss. T points the colours and Ss say them out. Listen to a song Colour song .(设计意图:课前一支歌,既复习了本节课将要用到的颜色单词,又缓解了小学生上课时的紧张情绪,并且营造了学习英语的氛围。)Step2: Presentation.1. Learn new words. T draws a big T-shirt on the blackboard and asks: Whats this? T helps Ss answer: Its a T-shirt. Then draw a small one. Learn the word small. Ss read after T.T says: big/ small .Ss listen and point the correct picture. Then change. T points, Ss say out the correct word.T colours the big T-shirt blue and says: What colour is this T-shirt? T helps Ss answer:Its blue.T colours the small T-shirt white and asks the same question. Ss learn the word white.T says blue T-shirt or white T-shirt. Ss listen and point. Ss practice in pairs. T draws a panda on the blue T-shirt. Learn the word and sentence: Panda. Its got a panda on it. Ss read after T. T asks: Do you like it? Why? T helps answer: Its nice/lovely. Ss read after T.T has several Ss show their clothes and practice the sentence : Its nice/ lovely.(设计意图:以上分类学习单词,便于学生记忆。把单词放在句子里教可以提高学生的口语表达能力。带动作学说可以给学生留下较深刻的学习印象。)T: I want to take a T-shirt. Lets go shopping and buy me a T-shirt. OK? You can give me some advice.T takes out a big blue T-shirt and has Ss give some advice. T helps Ss say: Its too big for you. Then T says: Try this small one in white. T says and puts it on. Ss can understand the meaning of the word try. Ss read after T. At last, T says: Its lovely. Ill take it. Ss look listen and imitate.(设计意图:情境教学法给学生创造一种接近真实的语境,便于学生理解和接受语言。)2. Learn the text. T: Lingling wants to take a T-shirt too. Lets have a look. Please look at the text. Listen to the tape and answer my question: What colour is Linglings T-shirt? Ss listen to the tape three times and answer my question. T checks the answer.(设计意图:带着问题听课文录音,可以让学生有目地地听,提高听的效果。)Step3. Practice.1. Ss read the dialogue after T.2.Lets chant using the sentences of the dialogue.3. Read and act the dialogue in groups/ threes.4. T has several Ss act in the front. They can get stickers if they do well. (设计意图:灵活多样的训练方法,可以避免课堂教学的枯燥,近一步提高学生的口语表达能力。适当的奖励可以让学生体验到成功学习的喜悦。) 课后反思:本节课的教学内容比较零散,我设计时先把重点单词列出来再分类进行整理,一步一步地引出这些单词。这样降低了学习难度,学生不会有畏难情
