This half of the class will be Blue Cat(蓝猫), and the other half of the class will be Naughty Mouse(淘气). Lets see which group is the quickest to climb up the scientific mountain and the moon.今天,蓝猫、淘气要进行攀登科学高峰,探索月球奥秘比赛,咱们来比一比,看一看到底哪个队最厉害,最先登上月球。 (学生的情绪一下子被调动了起来,他们个个腰板笔直,精神抖擞。)T:Now let sing a song: Stand up. (师生边唱新标准英语3A 第5模块第一单元的歌曲Stand up.边做动作,不仅营造了英语氛围,而且复习了数字-10。) Activity 2 New lessonStep 1.Lead-inT: How wonderful! Now boys and girls, I have a new friend. Listen carefully. It has a round face. It has two arms, one is long and the other is short. It has no legs, but it can walk. It has no mouth, but it can say tick-tock. What is it?S: (纷纷举手,有的脱口而出)钟。T:Good! Its a clock.(师一手做分针,一手做秒针,边演边说)Now Im a clock. Tick-tock, tick-tock. (有节奏的发音就跟小闹钟一样,激起了学生极大的兴趣,他们个个跃跃欲试,也想来tick-tock, tick-tock一番。)Step 2 Its oclock.T: (两胳膊成一定角度打开做出一个钟面,其中一手握拳做时针向上指向12,一手伸直指向1)Its one oclock.Ss: (惊喜,也跟随着用手演示)Its one oclock.T: Its three/six/nine/ten/twelve oclock.(教师变换时针的位置,学生乐此不疲地用手演示,用眼观察,用嘴述说)Step 3 Its half past(教师小拇指做圆心,拇指和食指捏住粉笔在黑板上画了一个圆)(学生惊呼“好圆哪!”)T:(分钟画着指向6,时针在4与5之间)Whats the time, please? Oh! Its half past four. (教师板书并领读2遍之后逐个检查)T:Lets play a game:陷阱.如果我的演示与我所说一样,你们就跟读,如果不一样,则不跟读,谁说了谁就掉进了我挖的陷阱,另一队则攀登一步科学高峰。Ready?S: Yes.T: ( 一手做分针垂直向下指向6, 另一手做时针)Its half past one/five/(学生瞪大眼睛仔细看,竖起耳朵仔细听,当教师的演示与所说句子一致时大声跟读,否则学生急忙用手捂嘴,但还是有同学不小心掉进了“陷阱”,其队员埋怨地直呼其名字,有的甚至用拳头锤桌子。)Step 4 Whats the time, please?T: Look at the screen, please. (播放Gogo学英语系列动画中的Time and clock ,Gogo 与Jenny, Tony一起乘坐汽垫船来到大钟楼前,当Gogo淘气地跑到大钟上边拨时间边问时刻时,教师取消声音,代替Gogo问)Whats the time, please? ( 学生很快投入到情景中,很容易地回答出)Its four/seven/ oclock. : Whats the meaning of whats the time, please? ( 学生纷纷举手,争先恐后地回答)S1: 几点了? (教师重复please, 来提醒学生)S2:请问几点了?:Youre very clever. Read after me. (教师领读遍后,请学生当小老师领读)T: Now lets chant. Listen and repeat. Time, time, time, whats the time, please?Oclock, oclock, its twelve oclock. (教师请一住同学上台配合,两人边击掌边说,当说到最后一句时两人出剪子、包袱或锤,谁赢谁用手当手枪“枪毙”对方)T: Practise in pairs. (学生兴趣高昂,边拍手边说,课堂气氛热烈。)Step 5 Have a restsing a songT: Im tired now. Lets sing a song to have a rest. Stand up. (师生边唱本模块第三单元的歌曲边模仿时钟“滴答”敲一点钟及小老鼠爬上爬下的动作)Activity 3 Practice Step 1. Game: DeafT: (叫4人上台)You have a poor hearing. When I ask you whats the time, please? You ask What? I ask Whats the time, please? Then you say I dont know. At last you tell the time. And we say thank you. Are you clear? ( 教师请四人到前面来扮演聋子, 教师问S1Whats the time, please? S1不听见,大声问What? 教师不“耐烦”,又大声问了一遍,谁料S1回答I dont know.教师便让他问S2: Ask him/her. 于是S1与S2,S2与S3之间便有了教师与S1之间一样的对话,最后S4告诉时间,S3说Thank you.而后告诉S2, S2告诉S1, S1告诉教师。这个游戏教师与学生的动作要夸张,才能营造气氛,激发学生的兴趣。)T:Now practice in groups.Ss: (学生用夸张的动作,幽默的表情,兴致勃勃地进行练习)T:Which group would like to come to the front?Group 1: Step 2. Game: 改编的Mr wolf, whats the time, please?T:(戴上老狼的头饰)Look, Im Mr. Wolf. Lets play a game. 我面朝黑板背冲大家边做边说:“ tick-tock, tick-tock.” 你们一起问:“Whats the time, please?” 当我回答:“Its twelve oclock.”时,立刻转身,大家坐在座位上一动不要动,如果谁动了就要被老狼吃掉。T: (边模仿时钟做动作边说) Tick-tock, tick-tock.Ss: Whats the time, please?T: (边模仿时钟边说)Its 2/7/12 oclock. (当说到12点时,学生屏住呼吸一动不动,教师模仿老狼凶狠地样子到处巡视,终于有的同学忍不住笑,被老狼逮住“啊呜”吃掉,同学笑。)(请一位同学扮演上台老狼,游戏继续进行)Step 3. Game: 经典的Mr wolf, whats the time, please?T:(请6位同学上前面排成一队,最前面同学扮演鸡妈妈,教师扮演老狼)Tick-tock, tick-tock.Ss: (经教师暗示) Whats the time, please?T: Its oclock. (当老狼说:“Its twelve oclock.”时,就去抓最后一位小鸡宝宝,鸡宝宝躲闪,鸡妈妈拼命保护。当出现危急情况时,鸡妈妈蹲下,鸡宝宝“回家”,小鸡们问Whats the time, please? 游戏继续进行)T:Now lets play the game in groups. (全体学生都兴高采烈地动了起来,按老师分的6人一组进行游戏,教师也参与到其中,课堂气氛达到高潮。)Activity 4 Production ActivitiesT: (教师请一位同学到前面,出示模型钟面,拨动时针、分针到7点) Whats the time, please?S2:Its seven oclock.T: You have breakfast at seven oclock.S2: Yes.T: (拨到12 点)Whats the time , please?S2: Its twelve oclock.T: You have lunch at twelve oclock.S2: Yes.T: Practise in pairs with your clock. (学生同桌两人或者走下座位与自己的朋友用准备好的钟面进行互问互猜)Activity 5 AssignmentsStep 1 Sum upT: Terrific job. Now all of you can express the times and have good habits. Now heres a proverb for you:As every thread of gold is valuable, so every moment of time. 一寸光阴一寸金。
