Unit3 Could you please clean your room?(section A 1a-2d)一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:用 “Could you please do things?” “Could I please do things ? ”谈论如何委婉地提出请求或征求别人的许可, 及回答语“Sure / Certainly / Im glad to .”能礼貌地拒绝, “Sorry, I / you cant,. I / you have to do”并表达自己的理由, 陈述自己的好恶。以do housework 和调查做力能所及的事为话题,学会运用“Could you please do things?” “Could I please do things?”2. 情感态度价值观目标:学会帮助他人。二、教学重点:1)学习一些常用的动词短语。2)委婉地提出请求、征求许可做某事。Could you/Iplease do things?Yes, Sure. / 。I/You can. Sorry, I / you cant. I / you have to do”三、教学难点:在实际的生活中委婉地表达自己的请求和征求许可.四、教学方法: Task-based and communicative teaching methods.五、教学过程Step 1.Lead in The teacher says to the students, “ what do you usually do on weekends at home ? ” Some students may say “ I usually watch TV, I help my parents with housework”Then I show words “housework” whose the same meaning is “chore”Ant then I says “Could you please do some chores ?”Step2.Ask and answerI will show them some pictures , and asks the questions with“What chores does he do every day ?” so I can show new phrases such as do the dishes ,fold the clotjes, etc.Step3.1a Do you do these chores at home? Discuss them with your partner . This activity can let student remember the new words and phrases and improve the atmosphere of class.Step 4 .Listen (1b)Listen and check who will do these chores? this step can make students remember more phrases about chores .Step5.(1c) Make sentences with “could you please.?From the listening , we can hear the sentence “could you please do the dishes?”So I will show some pictures to students and let students make more sentences.Step6. Listen. (2a) Listen .peter asks his father if he can do four things .what does his father say?This step can let students learn how to make requests and refuse others.(2b) Listen again . Why does Peters father say “no”? Draw lines to the reasons .This step can let students learn how to make reasons .Step7. Pair work( 2c)Ask and answer with their partners, first the teacher should give students an example, then they can talk freely with the pictures.Step8.Role play (2d)Ask the students to look at the activity 2d , they can talk with their groups then they can role play the conversation.Step9.Show timeTask : Your birthday is coming. You need to clean your living room and make it more beautiful. First discuss and make a list of the chores we do. Then ask your friends if he or she could do any. After discussing ,students should give their show to us .Step10.Summary1) New vocabulary 2) Could you please? Yes, please. / Sorry, I cant.Step11.Homework 1) List all the main phrases of doing chores that you know.
