Whats the meaning : an after-school study program4. Show some pictures and learn the new words and sentences : In the hospital ,you could cheer up (板书) the sick kids . In some poor places ,you could help the poor people . Look ! They are very poor, and they are homeless . You could help the homeless people . How could you help them ? Look! Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences.2. Play the tape twice.3.Listen again and complete the sentences .1.Read the chart carefully .2. Listen and number the ways the boy and girl could help people .Step4 :Practice1.T:Let the students look at the pictures and read the conversation on the screen .Then choose one of the pictures to practice in pairs2.Ask some pairs to act out their conversation .1.Ss : Use the information in the pictures on the screen to make their own conversations.2.
