Unit3 Could you please clean your room? 教学设计 海伦市第三中学 孙景娜单元教材分析: 本单元是新目标八年级下册第三单元Section A (1a2c)部分。话题为“chores and permission”家务活和许可。教学内容贴近学生生活,学生有一定学习兴趣。本单元的语言目标是学会提出礼貌请求以及寻求对方许可(make polite requests and ask for permission)。教学目标(Teaching Aims)(一)知识与能力 1.学习并掌握一些家务琐事的词汇和短语((chore,rubbish,fold,floor,mess,take out the rubbish,sweep the floor)。 2.学会用could礼貌地提出要求(could for polite requests)。 3.学会用could征询许可( could for permission)。 (二)过程与方法 采用任务型教学方法进行自主学习、小组合作探究和role play 的学习策略, 利用教学图片、幻灯片等来展开课堂教学、通过pair work 的口语交际形式,让学生在真实语境中体会所学,教师检测学生是否能够恰当得体地运用语言,1a1c从听说技能入手,呈现、学习不同琐事表达法及礼貌、委婉地提出要求的句型表达,为词汇及句型结构的输入阶段,2a2c突出听 、说技能训练,在发现语言技能的同时,练习、巩固此前学习的词汇和表达,并介绍、操练征询许可的句型结构。让学生将礼貌地提出要求,和争求许可两种功能,进行综合操练、运用。 (三)情感态度价值观 通过谈论家务琐碎及家庭互助,培养学生生活习惯,社会行为习惯的养成。帮助学生建立家庭责任感。教学过程:Teaching processTask One What kinds of chores do you usually do ?Step 1 Revision1. Greetings.Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. 2. Who is the busiest in your family, your mother, your father or yourself? lead-inStep2 Presentation1. Boys and girls, I want to know who usually cooks meals for you. Collects some different answers from the students.( Maybe the teacher uses You parents are busy and tired. We could do something to help them.)2. Ask students: What housework do you usually do on weekends or in your free tome?Get lots of answers like cleaning the house, doing the dishes , washing clothes and so on.3. Teach new words and phrases by showing some pictures on the screen.Sweep the floor , take out of rubbish4. Practice in pairs.-Do you sweep the floor?-Yes, sure. I often do it on weekends. What about you?- I often help my mother do the dishes.5. Finish 1b. ( The teacher may use some instructions. For example, lets check the answers together.)Task Two Make polite requests and ask for permissionStep 3 PresentationThe teacher shows the polite way to make requests.Ask students to compare two ways of requests.Peter, sweep the floor!Could you please sweep the floor,Peter?Then give the permission to the students. Yes, sure. No problem.If you cant, you can say Sorry, Im going to . Or I have to Practice with different studentsStep 4. practice in groupsShow a model on the screen .A: Could you please clean the living the room, Tony?B: Yes, sure. Could you please do the dishes, Tom?C: Sorry, Im going to meet my friend later.B; Could you do the dishes, Linda?D. No problem.Then ask students to practice in groups of four. Invite several groups to show their conversations.( 教师评价时要使用鼓励语言。 You did a good job. Youve made great progress. Youll do better next time.以及 Dont be afraid. I can give you a hand when you have difficulties.)Step5 Finish 2a and 2b1. Teach new phrases get a ride2. Ask some students to read the four things that Peter wants to do.3. Finish 2a and 2b. Listen again.必要时教师可使用gestures.)Step6 Make their own conversationsToday its Sunday . Hellen s friends are coming over. She wants his mother to do something for her. (buy some fruits and drinks , cook dinner for them) But she is going to do sports/ in the afternoon. She cant go shopping for her. She will come back at five. She can cook dinner.)Get students to practice in pairs. Then ask a few pairs to act it out.They can begin like this:- Mom!-Yes?- My friends are coming over in the afternoon. We need some fruits and drinks. Could?Summary:语法探究Could表示委婉语气的用法: Could you please +动词原形+.?Could I +动词原形+.?1)在以上两个句型中,could表示委婉地请求或许可,而不是can 的过去式,否定句直接在动词原形前加not。例如: Could you please not tell him about it?(2)在答语中表示允许某人做某事时,用can和may来表达,不能用could。例如:Could I borrow your dictionary?Yes, of course, you can. 课堂小结:Could you please do. ?Yes, sure. /No problem. /Sorry, I cant.
