Unit 5 why do you like pandas?一教学目标:.知识目标:能掌握常见动物词汇:tiger, elephant, panda, lion, koala, giraffe等能使用形容词描述动物:cute, lazy, smart, beautiful, scary等学生能口头运用下列目标语言来谈论动物及喜好某种动物的原因 Why do you /does she/ does he like.? Because they are.能力目标:学习在与他人交谈中描述动物的各种特征,培养学生的观察力,语言表达以及语言组织的能力。.情感目标:动物和人类都生活在同一地球上,动物是我们的朋友。引导学生与动物和谐相处。二教学重点掌握描述动物的特征并会表达喜好某种动物及说明意好的原因能熟练掌握并在情境中运用本单元的新学句型。三教学难点用because来说明喜欢某种动物的原因,形容词的准确使用。四课前准备:(教具)单词卡片、多媒体设备、贴纸等五教学设计Step 1 :Warming upGreeting the students, using the following dialogue .(使用下列对话,问候学生)T: Good morning !S1: Good morning !T: How are you, guys?S: We are fine, how about you, Miss. Long?T: Im so happy cause there are so many teachers coming here to enjoy our classSo, today, we are going to learn a new lesson. First, lets look at the blackboard, whats the title of this unit? S:why do you like pandas?T:Yes, thats excellent! So, follow me, “why do you like pandas?”S:Why do you like pandas?(学生跟着老师读两遍标题)Step2: Lead in(导入) T:OK, now, Ill show you a video, while you listening, you should write down the animals you hear. Are you clear? S:OK, Here we go.(播放一段视频,让学生记下视频中听到的动物) T:So, how many animals did you hear? S1:Pandas S2;tigers . T:Abosutely right. They are T:And what other animals do you know? S:Step3: Presentation(呈现)T:Brillent! So everybody, have you been to CQ zoo? No? Ok, now Ill take you guys to CQ zoo to see more animals. Are you ready?(展示一张CQ动物园照片进行新单词的学习)S:Yes.T: what can you see from this picture?S: Wow! There are so many animals!T; what are they? Do you know? Ok , lets learn it one by one. (将新单词一一呈现再黑板上,并且教读进行巩固) T:Among all the animals, whats your favorite animals? (引出新句型) Why do you /does she/ does he like.? Because they areS1: I like best.T:Why do you like them?S1:Because they areStep 4: Practice and consolidation (巩固练习) 1.Do some happy drillings(对目标句型进行训练)S:This time, we will do some happy drilling to practice according the example. Here we go! 2.Guessing game(由图片猜测动物进一步巩固所学单词和句型)T: This time, we are going to guess the animals. Ill give your group a star if you are right, ok?S; ok. 3.学生们谈论1a的图片并回答三个问题。T: Now, turn to page 25, and please look at part 1A, talk about this picture with your partner and finish the three question. Clearly?S:Ok. T: One two go!.T; Any other ideas?S:.4.学生完成1A配对任务。T: Now, match the words with the animals in the picture. Ok , go !T: Time is up. Is it easy for you?S:yes T:and who can tell us the right answers?S:.T:The answers are like this.Do you agree with her?S:yes. T: lets read the words. Tiger, tiger, one two go!4.让学生齐读图片中的对话。5.练习1b听力,听一遍,更正答案。T:OK, now, I think we are going to do some listening .look at part1b.T:Have you finished? So who can tell me which animals did you hear?S:Panda 、giraffe、 koalaT: Good job!6完成1c,学生上台展示。T:Boys and girls, now I want you to practice some dialogues. Look at part 1c,(practice the conversations) first, can you guys tell what are the words in the box? What kind of words are they?S: Adjectives.T:Great! Lets read them together. T:Excellent. What other words can you think of to describe animals? S1:friendly S2:clever S3:smart T: well done. Now , make a conversation with your partner like 1c. and try to use as more great words as you can . Then make actions in front of our class.Step5: Review (复习、拓展)1.(写作) :写一段30-40字的话对你喜欢的动物进行描述。学生完成后,教师用展台展示并作评论。T:You guys are so clever. I love your actions. Now, we are going to do some writing. 2. 播放一段视频,启示学生要保护好动物。3.homework (作业)
