Group work.Teaching AidsCAITeaching Procedures Step1 Leading -in Show the flash and let the students answer the questions below: 1) Can you see three bowls? 2) What are in them? 3) Do you like noodles? 4)Can you find the differences among the three bowls of noodles? 5)Show the sign -Special 1, Special2, Special3 to understand their meanings. Step2. Presentation 1. Teach the new words of food used in noodles. 2. Look at the numbered list of ingredients. Read and repeat. 3. Ask students to match each word with the foods in sectionA-1a. 4. Check the answers.Step3. Listening 1b 1. Point to the three bowl of noodles. Point to and read the names of the three specials or ask a student to do it. Then point to the bowl one at a time and ask what ingredients are in the bowl of noodles. Confirm answers or correct wrong responses by reading the list of ingredients again.2. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.3. Play the recording a second time. This time, ask students to check the bowl of noodles that the person ordered.4. Check the answers.Step4. Presentation 1c (1) Present the target language as following: A: What kind of noodles would you like? B: Id like beef and tomato noodles, please.(2) Students work in pairs to practice the conversations using the sentence patterns.(3) Invite some pairs to present their conversations to the class.Step5. Listening 2a1. Point to the food in the picture and ask students to point to and name each one.2. Explain to students that they will hear a recording of a conversation. The person will talk about some of the foods, but they will not talk about others. Please check the names of the foods only heard.3. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.4. Play the recording a second time. This time, ask students to put checkmark next to each food mentioned in the tape.5. Check the answers. Step6. Listening 2b1. Read the instruction to the class.2. Play the recording and ask students to listen and write the word in each blank.3. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.4. Listen again. This time, students fill in the blanks.5. Check the answers.Step7. Presentation 2c Ask students to work in pairs. One person is the waiter, the other one is the customer.
