Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A 1 (1a-1c)一、教学目标： 1. 语言知识目标：1) 能掌握以下单词： newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just 能掌握以下句型： What are you doing? Im watching TV. Whats he doing? Hes using the computer. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD. This is Jenny. Its Laura here. 2) 能掌握语法：现在进行时态的用法。3) 能运用所学的知识，描述人们正在干的事情。2. 情感态度价值观目标：通过对本单元的学习活动，能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣，善于发现生活中正在发生的事情，积极思考，乐于助人，乐于参加各种活动的积极情感，培养学生团结合作的精神。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner 等 2. 教学难点： 现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音，能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。三、教学过程I. Presentation1. Review .e.g.what do you usually do on weekend? I usually watch TV.What time do you usually get up?I usually get up at six .2. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words and expressions. 3. Ss watch and learn the new words and expressions.4. Give Ss some time and try to remember the new words and expressions. 5. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.) e.g. T: What are you doing? S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer) T: What is he /she doing? Ss: He /she is doing homework. Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a book, eating dinner, talking on the phone.as the same way. 6.game show 叫学生上来表演动作，然后叫全班同学猜并说出短语。巩固“be+doing”及短语7. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 8. Check the answers with the Ss. II Listening 1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now lets listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss twice.3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a. 4. PracticeIII. Pair work 1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. And conversations about other person in the picture.2. Ss make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations. V. Role-play 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in1b and match. 2. Check the answers with the Ss. 3. Let Ss work in pairs and role-play the conversation. VII. Language points1. This is Jenny. 我是詹妮。 这是打电话用语。打电话介绍自己时用“This is”或“Its”; 询问对方用“Is that?”或“Whos that?”。例如： Hello? This is Bob, whos that? 喂？我是鲍勃, 你是谁？ Hi, Bob. Its Mike here. 你好, 鲍勃。我是迈克。2. Not much. （口语）没什么大事。也可说成Nothing much, 表示自己有空。 例如： A: What are you doing, Linda? 你在做什么事，琳达？ B: Not (Nothing) much. Im just reading a book. 没什么事。我在读一本书。3. Do you want to join me for dinner? 你想和我一起吃饭吗？ join somebody for something表示“与某人一起做某事; 参与或加入到某人的行列中一起做某事”。例如： Would you come and join us for a cup of coffee? We need to talk to you. 你来跟我们喝杯咖啡好吗？我们有事要跟你谈。4. Id love to. 我很乐意。 1) 交际用语，用于礼貌地接受他人邀请，还可以说成Id like to，但语气比较弱。例如：Would you like to come with us to the show? 你愿意跟我们一起去看表演吗？ Thanks. Id like to. 谢谢，我愿意。2) 当委婉拒绝他人邀请时，多用Id love to, but.或Sorry, Im afraid I cant because.等。例如：Im going to town. Would you like to join me? 我进城去，你想跟我一同去吗？Sorry, Im afraid
