Thinking goals:Describe animals, express where the animals are from.4. Quality target: Love the animals and protect the animals.【教学重点】Teach the students how to describe animals and express where the animals are from.【教学难点】How to use the knowledge about the animals in life.【教学过程】教学流程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1.Leading in.The teacher plays the video.Watch the video and feel the animals in our life.利用剪辑50秒的动物世界的视频导入本课的学习,意在用强烈的视觉和听觉冲击让学生了解本节课的授课内容。Step2. Revision.Show the pictures and the toys about animalsSay the animals in English as quickly as possible用图片和手偶结合的方式复习有关动物的相关单词,为本课学习增加了趣味性,并且调动了课堂气氛。Step 3.Guessing game.Play the sounds of the animals.Listen to the sounds of the animals and guess what animals they are.“让学生听声音来辨别是哪种动物”的情景设计好似让学生置身于动物世界中,还原英语教学的真实性和趣味性。Step 4Chant.Lead the students to chant the songs of the animals.Help students to learnthe sentences.Follow the teacher to chant the songs of the animals.在step2和step3的基础上和学生一起吟唱动物之歌,做到了将课堂充分还给学生,为下面描述动物的句型做铺垫。【教学过程】【教学过程】Step 5Finish 1aGive the students 1 minute to finish 1a.Do exercises by themselves.在练习并运用关于动物名称的单词后,完成此习题达到巩固的效果。Step 6Presentation.“I like koalas, because theyre cute.”Ask the question: “What do you think of the animals?”Ask the students to make the sentences like “I like koalas, because theyre cute.”Say the adjectives like “shy, friendly, scary and so on”Make sentences like “ Koalas are shy.”在复习和运用有关动物的名词之后,学习和运用与动物相关的形容词,帮助学生将step2-step5的知识结合成句子,教学活动的设计层层递进,让学生的知识构建水到渠成。Step 7 Listening.Play the tape.Listen to the tape and finish the questions.通过听力学习导入即将要学习的句型:A:Welcome to the zoo.B:Lets see the lions first.A:Why do you want to see them?B:Because they are interesting.这样过渡自然,学生易于接受。Step 8Presentation.A:Welcome to the zoo.B:Lets see the lions first.A:Why do you want to see them?B:Because they are interesting.Design the situations of the zoo to lead in the sentences:A:Welcome to the zoo.B:Lets see the lions first.A:Why do you want to see them?B:Because they are interesting.Follow the teacher just like we are in the zoo now, to practice the sentences:A:Welcome to the zoo.B:Lets see the lions first.A:Why do you want to see them?B:Because they are interesting.以step 5的句型为基础,创设情境引导学生学习描述动物的句型,并放手给学生时间加以操练。知识输入到输出的过程就是本节课突破重点的过程之一。Step 9Watching and listening.(Made a video about animals and added 2a listening in this video) Play the video and ask students to find the answers:Where are they from?Lions -Pandas -Koalas -Watch and listen to the video, after that, anstwer the question:Where are they from?Lions -Pandas -Koalas -此环节的设计是本节课的一个创新。将原本的听力材料插入在剪辑好的和听力相匹配的视频中,让学生边看边听边思考,加大了听力的难度,却增加了英语教学的真实感,还原了听力材料的真实语境。Step 10Presentation.A: Where are lions from?B: They are from South Africa.Through the listening to lead in the sentences:A: Where are lions from?B: They are from South Africa.Practice the sentences:A: Where are lions from?B: They are from South Africa.此步骤中的句型操练是练习和巩固短语be from 的用法。是本节课突破重点的过程之二。Step 11Conclusion 1.Conclude the information that we have learnedThink about what they have learned this lesson.学生在总结的过程中,教师在黑板上体现重难点,帮助学生构建知识框架,并且着重强调本课句型中需要注意的问题。Step 12SituationdialogueDo an example for the students and encourage the students to act with the knowledge that they have learned.Discuss in groups and act in the front of the blackboard.此环节的设计是本节课的第二个创新。改变以往单一的情境对话模式。充分利用视频,让站在讲台的孩子扮演导游的角色和下面的小组学生(游客)进行互动,从而将本节课的目标句型进行运用和升华。充分体现学生主体地位的同时将本节课推入高潮阶段。Step 13Conclusion 2.Play the video about protecting the animals and propose the hope.Watch the video and feel the danger of the animals.此环节的设计是本节课的第三个创新。用保护动物的视频最为情感教育比任何图片,说教更有号召力和影响力,直接达成本节课的情感教育目标。Step 14HomeworkSay the homework about this lesson.Listen and remember让学生运用所学在身边的朋友中做一个小调查,将知识进行内化和输出。【教学板书】U
