Section B Teacher: Pan JingSchool: Chuzhou No. 8 Middle SchoolUnit 10 Id like some noodles.Section B 2a2c一,教学课型:阅读课二,教材分析: 本课是新目标英语七年级第十单元Sectiin B中的2a2c, 这一部分主要是要完成对一篇阅读文章的学习。本单元的话题是关于事物的,所以这篇阅读也与食物有关,通过对中英两国在生日时吃的事物进行了解学习,从而了解两国的文化饮食差异,在阅读课基础上学习一些事物名词和更多短语,用于学生更好地表达个人喜好。三,学情分析: 初一下学期的学生已有一定英语基础,且本单元的话题也较能引起学生兴趣,学生在经过Section A的学习后对于本单元的基本句型已经掌握,所以在这节课中不需要过多教学语法,学生会更感到学的轻松。带着轻松心情,伴随着生活化主题的阅读文章,学生们更容易进入教师设定的教学情境,教师要指导他们积极主动地阅读。四,教学目标: 1,知识目标: (1)重点词汇:world, answer, different, cake, candle, blow, if, will, the UK, candy, lucky, popular, idea (2)重点短语:around the world, make a wish, blow out, get popular, cut up, bring good luck to2, 能力目标:能够通过教师在阅读前关于文章的铺陈讨论和给出的阅读任务,快速掌握了解文章的主题内容,并能在精读细读时带着问题去思考,最后通过回答问题给文章做一个总结。从而了解到不同国家的人过生日时不同的饮食文化。3,情感目标:通过阅读不同国家的人过生日时不同的饮食文化,让学生体会学习英语的乐趣,使学生具有初步的世界文化观念。更重要的是通过生日这一话题,让学生懂得父母生育自己的艰辛,感恩父母,热爱生活。五,教学重难点: 1,掌握重点词汇短语的用法,根据语境推测出生词在文中含义,运用生词短语描绘生日情况。 2,培养学生阅读能力,如略读,精读等。六,教学方法: 采用任务型语言教学,实施情景教学法,交际法,情感激励法等教学方法。七,教学准备:PPT, 糖果等八,教学过程:(T= teacher,S=student) Step 1: Warm-up and Lead-in1) , Memory game T: Lets play a memory game. Do you remember them? Lets make a sentence, like “Id like (to eat)” S1: Id like beef S2: Id like to eat mutton S3: Id like to eat a cake2) Play a song “Happy birthday to you” T: Lets listen to a popular song “Happy birthday to you” and sing the song together Ss: OK. “Happy birthday to you”.3) After singing the song, discuss the question in 2a. T: If today is your birthday, what would you like to do or eat? S1: Have a birthday party. S2: Eat a birthday cake. S3: Eat noodles, buy some food( At last, show some pictures about birthday) :通过复习食物单词和播放生日歌曲,引导学生想到生日情境,接着和学生讨论生日时吃什么,做什么,给文章进行过渡铺陈,导入自然生动,吸引学生注意。 Step 2: Presentation1) Show some pictures of new words. Let students guess “what words I will show them”T: Do you know “what it is”S1: 蜡烛。T:Yes, in English, its “ a candle”. And nextSs: “ A candy” “I dont know”2) Show two maps of two countries, which are “the UK” and “China”.Ask students “Do you know what people like to eat on the birthday in the UK or in China”?S1: Cakes.S2: I think in China people like noodles.T: Ok. Here is an article about my question, lets find the answer by reading it.:通过必要的生词学习,为学生看懂文章做足充分准备,学生们随着教师的问题,进入文章阅读,自然过渡。 Step 3: Fast reading (2b) Let students do fast reading and complete the chart as quickly as they can.CountryFoodSpecial meaningthe UKChinaAt last, check the answers by discussing and reward some active students. :有了前面充足的准备,学生能够很快进入阅读者角色,文章对他们并不陌生,所以此时布置快速阅读任务,即跳读,寻找有关问题的阅读部分。 Step 4: Presentation T: Look at the screen. Here are some useful phrases. If you can find them in the article, you will understand “the birthday food around the world” quickly. Find the sentences whick the phrases are in. Students will find them and tell the teacher, then teacher will lead them to discuss the meaning of the sentences. At last, reward students. :通过找短语出现的句子,和学生们一起共同讨论,可以让学生们更好理解短文意思,为如下的精读做准备。在学习同时,设置奖励环节,鼓励积极发言的学生,增加课堂学习趣味性。 Step 5: Careful reading1) Work on 2c. Read the article again and answer the questions. Q1, How can a person make his or her birthday wish come true? Q2, What do people in the UK sometimes put in a birthday cake? Q3, Why do people never cut up birthday noodles in China? Q4, Why do people eat special foods on their birthday?2) Give students some minutes to read the article carefully, and Check the answer together. Encourage them to answer questions. :本环节的四个问题能够帮助学生对文章有整体理解。只有读懂文章才能正确回答问题,应在本环节着重强调回答问答题的答题技巧。 Step 6: Summary and Thanksgiving1) Make a short summary about the article. Give a list or line to help students retell something about the birthday food around the world.2) Thank your parents .T: On your birthday, dont forget your parents. They gave you life.
