Section B 2a-2c教学设计 饶会芳Part 1 Topic Talk about foodPart 2 Teaching goals I. 语言知识目标:1.能根据读音规则和音标拼读单词(音-形),能根据构词法学习并运用词汇(形-性-义)。world, answer, different, cake, candle, age, blow, if, will, the UK, candy, lucky, popular, idea. 能正确使用下列表达:around the world, make a wish, blow out, get popular, cut up, bring good luck to.2.能读懂有关生日饮食习俗话题的文章,并能就话题进行简单交流,做到语音、语调基本正确、自然、流畅。3.能运用目标语言就相关话题与他人交换信息,参与讨论,并陈述自己的意见。II. 语言技能目标:1.听:能听懂学习活动中的相关指令和问题,并根据提示完成相关任务;能根据语调的变化,体会句子意义的变化。2.说:能就简单的话题提供信息,表达观点和意见,能运用相关提示(如图片,文字,思维导图等)进行描述,并能运用所学知识就相关话题展开讨论。3.读:能通过预测、速读、寻读等阅读策略理解文章大意,明晰文章谋篇布局,理解文章的逻辑关系,并能根据不同的阅读目的运用不同的阅读策略获取相关信息,能读懂相关水平的课内篇章及课外篇章。4.写:能根据学习活动要求记录相关信息;能根据所学内容使用简单的句子完成半控或开放性写作。III. 情感态度目标:1.乐于参与英语活动,敢于用英语进行表达,积极与他人交流,体验英语学习的乐趣。2.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,互相帮助,共同完成学习任务。3.通过了解不同国家的生日饮食习俗以及微视频拓展世界各地有趣的生日习俗,进行中西文化的对比,开阔学生的视野,培养学生的跨文化意识,与此同时,引导学生以自己的实际行动去实践感恩,提高学生的综合人文素养。IV. 学习策略目标:1. 能利用读音规则和音标拼读词汇,能借助图片、上下文逻辑关系等理解词义。2. 能通过预测、速读、寻读等阅读策略理解文章大意,理解文章的逻辑关系,并能根据不同的阅读目的运用不同的阅读策略获取相关信息,能利用思维导图明晰文章谋篇布局并进行复述。3. 能借助网络搜索世界各地生日习俗,能通过观看电影丰富英语学习资源。V. 文化意识目标:通过阅读文章,了解不同国家的生日饮食文化,通过观看微视频拓展世界各地有趣的生日习俗,开阔学生的视野,进行中西文化的对比,培养学生的跨文化意识。Part 3 Teaching & learning methods1.Teaching methods:Task-based teaching method, communicative teaching method, audio-visual teaching method2.Learning methods: Cooperative learning method & communicative learning methodPart4 Teaching ProcedureWarming-up Task 1: Enjoy a video about Annas birthday. After watching the video, ask Ss three questions: “What are they doing?”,“What can we say to Anna?”,“What will they eat on the birthday?”Purpose: Ss are very interested in the video so that it can arouse Sss interest.Lead-in Task 2: Free talk. Talk about your birthday. Ask Ss two questions: What do you do on your birthday? What do you eat on your birthday?Purpose: Let Ss talk about their experiences so that they can focus on the new text naturally.Before reading:Task 3: Ask Ss to look at the title and the picture and choose:What is the article about? A. birthday party B. birthday food C. birthday gift Reading strategy 1: The picture and the title can help us to predict(预测).Purpose: Let Ss practice the skimming skills and get the idea of what the article is about.While reading:Task 4: Ask Ss to read the passage quickly and match each paragraph with its main idea. Para 1 Birthday food in many countries.Para 2 People in different countries like to eat different birthday foods.Para 3 Different birthday foods, the same idea.Para 4 Birthday food in ChinaReading strategy 2: The first part of each paragraph is very important.Purpose: Let Ss practice the scanning skills and get the main idea of each paragraph.Task 5: Let Ss Read Para.1 and answer: What would people like to eat on their birthday?The answer would be _in different countries.Purpose: Let Ss grasp the key word.Task 6: Ask Ss read Para 2 and try to find the answers to the questions:1. What do people in many countries eat on their birthday?2. What will they do?Then fill in the blanks: In many countries People have birthday cakes_ _The number of candles is the persons _. The birthday person must _ _ _and _ _the candles. If he or she blows out all the candles_ _ _,the wish will _ _.Purpose: To provide reading practice with the target language. Let Ss get the relevant information.Task 7: Let Ss read Para 2 and answer:In the UK What do people sometimes put in a birthday cake?_.The child with the candy is_.Purpose: To let Ss find what people in the UK put in a birthday cake. Task 8: Retell the passage in groups Purpose: To let Ss retell the passage in groups with the mind-map. Task 9: Writing: There are so many people caring about(关心)us. What can you do on their birthdays or other special days? What is the special meaning?Write it down on the love card.Purpose: To consolidate the target language by writing a love card. To let Ss learn to be thankful and show their love. Task10: Homework: 1. You should: Retell the article to your partner.2. If you like: Visit the website to get more
