Teaching aids: Some pictures. Teaching process:Step1. Review : Look at these pictures and talk about them like this: -What does he look like ? -He is /has . -Is he tall or short? -He is tall.Step2. Grammar: Askthestudentstoreadthesentencesinthegrammarbox. T:Pleasereadthesentencesinthegrammarbox.Thenmakesomesentenceswiththewords“do”or“does”;“is”or“has”.S1:Whatdoesyourfriendlooklike?S2:Whatdoyourfriendslooklike?S3:Doesshehavelonghair?S4:Doyouhavecurlyhair?S5:Myfriendistallandheavy. S6:Myfriendsareshort. Thengettheclasstosumuphowtousethewords“do”or“does”;“is”or“has”correctly.Theteachercangivesomehelp. T: Now I will tell you how to use the words do, does, be, have, has. The word do, have goes with the you, we and they questions and does, has goes with the he, it and she questions, Im, theyre, hes and shes with descriptions of height and build. Then ask the students to do the following exercises. Fill in the forms with do, does, is, am, are, have, has. 1. How _ you go to school every day? 2. Mother _ housework at home. 3. My best friend _ a girl. She _ a round face. 4. What _ your parents look like? They _ both tall and heavy. 5. _ your brother wear a green shirt? No, he doesnt. 6. I _ a new friend.
