Unit 5 Why do you like pandas? 第一课时Section A (1a-1c) 教学设计教学内容:本单元是七年级下册第五单元Why do you like pandas? 。本单元的主要话题是描述动物,表达个人对动物的喜好并说明理由。该单元的学习内容涉及到动物,是中学生比较喜欢的话题,贴近学生的生活,极易激起学生学习的主动性和兴趣,产生了解动物的强烈欲望。通过本单元的学习,学生要掌握一些新的动物的名称,学会用性质和品质的形容词来描述动物,并能用“why do you like? Because ”来陈述喜欢的原因。通过讨论动物,让学生了解大自然,增长地域知识,增近对自然环境的情感,唤起大家保护动物的意识。教学目标1. 知识目标:(1 )掌握有关动物的名词: panda, tiger, elephant, koalas, lion , giraffe, (2) 掌握描叙动物的形容词:cute, lazy. smart, beautiful,fun, interesting(3)掌握和会运用目标语: -Lets see the -Why do you like them?- Because theyre2. 能力目标:(1)培养学生在真实情景中学会表达自己喜爱的动物,同时询问和说明原因。(2)提高学生的听说能力。尤其是大胆地用英文流利、准确地交谈。3. 情感目标:(1)通过学习培养学生自觉保护动物的意识。(2)通过学习使学生更加热爱动物,热爱大自然。教学重难点1.重点:学习和掌握动物的名称。 2.难点:运用由Why引导的特殊疑问句及表达自己喜欢动物的原因的句子。课前准备:课件 音频文件 视频文件教学过程 Step 1 Organization and greetingT:How are you today?Ss: Im fine.T:Good!Today Im so glad to stand here to make friends with you .I hope we will have a good time .First ,Lets enjoy a video to relax ourselves ,OK?(play the video )(about 2 minutes)T: What did you see just now ?Ss: Pandas!T:Yes! Great! So “Do you like pandas ?”Ss: Yes!T: Why do you like pandas? (板书标题)Maybe you have many answers .So today Ill take you to the zoo to see more animals .Do you want to go with me ? OK .Lets go !Step :Guessing game .T: Have you ever been to the zoo ? Can you guess “What animal is this ?”(Show some parts of the pictures about different animals to learn the new words .eg: tiger、panda、elephant、 lion、 giraffe、 koala)Step : 1. Review new words . 2. Finish 1a :Match the new words with the animals in the picture .1. tiger _ 2. elephant 3. koala 4. panda 5. lion 6. giraffe T: OK.Great !All of you have bright eyes .How about your ears ? Next ,lets do some listening practice . 3. Finish 1b .Listen and check the animals you hear in 1a .(play the tapes 3 times and then check the answers )T: Great .All of you are very clever .We have learned so many animals .Do you want to see them ? why do you want to see them ? so we need to learn some more words to describle them .(show some pictures about these words : cute . lazy. Finish 1c.Step:Give some example conversation. Eg 1: A: Lets see the lions. B: Why do you want to see them ? A: Because theyre very interesting. Eg 2 : A: Lets see the giraffes. B: Why do you want to see them ? A: Because theyre very beautiful. Step :PairworkAsk them to describle the animals that you want to see ,make conversations about other animals.Shair thier ideas with other students.Step : Emotion education. These days some people kill a lot of animals for thier meat or they want to make money .They kill a lot of animals ,so they became endangered.We should do something to prote
