Learn the new words. 2. Reading and understanding.Teaching difficult points Improve students reading ability.Teaching aids A tape records , screen. Teaching procedures Step 1: Warming up Show the students the picture of fighting. A: Look at the two boys . What are they doing ? B: (help Ss): they are fighting.A: Can we fight ? Yes , we can. No, we cant.Step 2 . New words 1. Teacher show the new words ,and invite some students to read out the words one by one .2. Students repeat , and the teacher correct the pronunciation. 3. Let students make sentences using each word.4. Read the new words for several times to master the words.Step 3 Revision The teacher show the picture and the title , let students take about some school rules .let students ask and answer. A: Can we do ? B: Yes ,we can. No, we cant.Step 4(2a) 1. Listen ,check ()the activities Alan and Cindy talk about.First , Scan the activities and make students read and circle the new words. Second , Let student read the sentences together.Third ,Use General Questions and ask and answer.Can we do ?2. The teacher play the tape ,and students listen carefully ,at the same time students pay attention to the pronunciation and underline the answers to the questions. 3.Invite some students to check the activities. One ask and the other answer.2b.listen again .Can Alan and Cindy do these activities? 1. Circle can or cant .2. Choose some key and difficult sentences to explain. Make sure that students really understand.3. If students are not clearly enough , the teacher can play the tape player again to check answers. Step 5 . Pair work (2c)Student A is Alan and student B is Cindy .Talk about the rules in 2a. Eg A : Can we listen to music , Cindy?B: We cant listen to music in the hallways ,but we can listen to it outside .Step6.Role-play the conversation.First ,let student quietly read the conversation ,then answer two questions. Q1:What are John and Alice talking about?Q2:How many rules does Alice saySecond ,the teacher explain important words .Key words: have to, must, be late for.Third ,ask one or two students to role-play the conversation.Step6 Summary Summarize the lesson by reciting lis
