Ask students what they usually do in school / in class / after school/ after class/ at home/ on weekends2. Ask students what they can do.Model: T: What is he doing? S: He is sleeping. T: Can we sleep in class? S: No, we cant. We cant sleep in class. Dont sleep in class. T: What is he doing? S:He is eating. T: Can we eat in class? S: No, we cant. We cant eat in class. Dont eat in class. T: What is the title of this unit? S: Dont eat in class. T: This is a school rule. The school has lots of rules. Sb must keep/ follow the rules, but sb must break the rules. Now look at the six pictures, and answer “What rules are they breaking?”Step 2: Presenting1. Students work in groups, ask and answer about “What rules are they breaking?”2. Show the pictures of school rules. Ask students say these are our school rules. Ask students: What are the school rules? Help students to translate some rules in English. For example:We cant run in the hallways. / Dont run in the hallways.3. Let students read the rules loudly.Step 3: Practicing Activity 1(1a)Look at the picture in 1a ,then answer” Are they good students?
