Teaching procedureStep 1: Warm up and greetingsT: Good morning, class!S: Good morning, teacher!T: Hows the weather today?S: Its sunny and warm.T: Yes ,the weather is very good. You can do outside exercises after class and school. Step 2: Review how to describe the position:(1) Review the prepostionsT: Yesterday we have learned some prepositions to describe the position. Now lets review them. Lets say them out. The first one “ 在。对面”S: across from.T: How can you spell it?S: A-C-R-O-S-S F-R-OM(2) Work in pairs to describe a place.The teacher shows students a map and ask students to describe the position. For example:A: Where is the police station?B: Its on Bridge Street, between the restaurant and the hospital.(3) Writing the sentences about the position.The teacher asks the students to do the translation of some sentences.Step 3 To explain There be sentences1.
