Whats the weather like? , and answering with present progressive tense, such as ITS RAINING/SNOWING etc. 3)describe what somebodys doing, using HOWS IT GOING? , YES/NO questions such as IS HE/SHE DOING? and short answers, such as pretty good, great, terrible, etc. 2.过程与方法:Listening and speaking, pair work, group work3. 情感态度价值观目标: 感知大自然美丽的四季和千变万化的天气。了解自然环境和全球变暖,培养学生保护环境的意识。2、 教学重点: 1) 继续学习有关天气的词汇,运用所学的词汇来描述天气。2) 描述在不同的天气情况中人们正在做的事情。3) 阅读短文,提高获取相关信息的能力。三、教学难点: 1) 进行听力训练,培养学生们的听说能力。 2) 阅读短文,提高学生们的阅读能力四、教学策略:Task-based Learning,Direct Method 五、教学过程:. Warming- up and revision1. Ask and answer about the weather. 2. Ask and answer what sb. is doing. . Presentation1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words. T: Hows the weather in spring? Students: Its dry, cold, hot, warm 2. Teach Students to read the new words. . Pair work 1. Show five pictures in 1a. Ask and answer questions about theweather in the pictures . Give an example to the Ss. 2. Now work in pairs. Ask and answer questions about the weather in the pictures. A:What season is it? B: Its. A:Hows the weather? B:Its. A:Whats he/she doing? B:He/Shes. 3. Ask some pairs to ask and answer about the questions. . Listening practice Task 1. Listen and try to get the main idea. Task 2. Listen and try to fill in the chart. Students listen and finish the chart. Check the answers. Task 3. Listen and fill in the blanks. After listening, students should try to retell the listening material using their own words. Check the answers. . Group work and make a report.
