Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section B (1a-1e) 教学设计 新都区天元中学 李宗英教材分析：本课时是七年级下册Unit 6 Im watching TV.的第四课时，是一堂听说课。本课时继续学习动词的现在进行时，并重点操练其一般疑问句及其回答。学情分析：该班学生的英语水平参差不齐，有学习热情高的，也有课堂上根本不参与的，还有一部分同学自控力太差，课堂上喜欢说小话。教学目标：知识与技能：通过识图，学生更深入运用现在进行时的一般疑问句提问和回答；在听说活动中，训练学生捕捉细节信息“活动”和“地点”的能力和叙述事情的能力，巩固所学。学习策略：通过观察，用常识判断活动发生的地点；通过图片预测听力材料的大意；学会在听中速记的方法。文化意识：了解shopping mall和supermarket的区别。教学重点： 通过识图，学生更深入运用现在进行时的一般疑问句提问和回答；在听说活动中，训练学生捕捉细节信息“活动”和“地点”的能力和叙述事情的能力，巩固所学。教学难点：通过观察，用常识判断活动发生的地点；通过图片预测听力材料的大意；学会在听中速记的方法。教学方法：Task-based teaching approach、pair work、group work、game, listening skills。教学准备： 自制课件，彩色粉笔，游戏纸条和磁扣。教学过程：Step 1. Greetings Greet the students as usual.Step 2. Warm up Show the students how to play the guessing game just like the activity on Page 33. Then the students play it happily. Write down the main pattern on the blackboard. A: Are you playing basketball? B: Yes, youre right. / No, Im not.Step 3. Lead in Ask the students to look at the first three pictures and ask them : What is the man doing? What are they doing? Then show the other three pictures and ask: Where is the woman? Where is the man? Where is the ball? Then help the students to focus on the two key words: Activities and Places. The students need to circle these two words. Ask them to finish the chart in 1a. Explain shopping mall in Picture 2 and supermarket in Picture 4. You can buy books and toys in shopping malls. You can often buy food in supermarkets.Step 4. 1b Show the sample conversation on the blackboard and underline the key parts: somebody, activities and places. Then the students ask and answer questions about the pictures in 1a. They may work in pairs.Step 5. 1c-1d Show the chart in 1c. Circle the key parts: Names, Activities and Places. Ask the students to predict the answers before listening. Then play the tape and check the answers with them. Pay attention to the listening strategies: to grasp the key words.Step 6.1e Ask the students to read the sample conversation first. Help them to find these key parts: somebody, activities and places. Then ask the students to make new conversations using the information in the chart.Step 7.
